SWAT Team Attacks Organic Okra And Strawberries: Food Fascism Growing

When we think of SWAT (Spel Weapons and Tactics) we usually think of armed maniacs with hostages, bank robberies gone wrong, or domestic violence situations. But that is not always the case.
More often these days, SWAT teams are going after organic farmers. shutting down dairy operations, farms, and organic food operations. Police agencies are raiding organic farms, claiming many are fronts for mariuana growing operations. And they are also being used in code enforcement operations.
It happned again in Texas. A massive nine hour SWAT operation targeted the Garden of Eden organic farm in Arlington, Texas with helicopters and a humongous SWAT operation. ”Somebody” said the farm was a front for a marijuana grow operatio, so SWAT showed up with all of its toys, including a helicopter.
In the 9 hour long raid, they found no marijuana. Here’s what happened:

The police seized “17 blackberry bushes, 15 okra plants, 14 tomatillo plants … native grasses and sunflowers,” after holding residents inside at gunpoint for at least a half-hour, property owner Shellie Smith said in a statement. The raid lasted about 10 hours, she said.
Many of these kinds of SWAT operations are supported by surplus, military grade hardware–and the boys need to justify having their toys. So they use them. Hence armored SWAT vehicles–military personnel vehicles–weaponry and military tactics used against organic farmers, dairy farmers and alleged marijuana grow operations.
