89 per cent of polled respondents consider the opportunity to work remotely as 1 of 3 main perks (along with salary and reputation).
Out of 950 tech professionals polled, just over 1/3 of them would accept a 10 per cent pay cut if they could work from home full-time.
Of people who work at home, forty-three per cent admit to watching a movie or TV while they’re “working.”
Of people who work at home, twenty per cent admit to playing video games while they are “working.”
The pitfalls
13 out of 14 common workplace problems occur more frequently when employees are in different locations
Use of computer security monitoring programs will rise from fewer than 10 per cent now to 60 per cent by 2015.
