Arab Terrorists Attack the National Security Agency!

I love the smell of napalm in the morning.

Terrorism and the CIA, FBI, NBC, or…?

A funny thought that’s not so funny…what if Arab Terrorists took out something like National Security Agency?

The National Security Agency, or NSA, is guilty not just of spying, but of breaking the Constitution of the United States.

We are speaking of the massive intrusions on the American people through computer harvesting of phone records. This thoroughly trashes the fourth amendment.

Politicians and mainstream news media have been quick to defend the National Security Agency, claiming the NSA is not really spying. That they are just ‘eve’s dropping’ on keywords that indicate potential terrorism.

The American people aren’t buying it, but the issue has largely been swept under the table, and the rather short attention span of the American people has moved on to the next scandal d’jour.

Wondering at the death of this incredibly important headline, this author suddenly had the thought: would the American people care if Arab terrorists went after the National Security Agency?

Would anybody care if Muslim Terrorist groups targeted one of the NSA facilities? Maybe blew up the NSA telecommunications building in Bluffdale, Utah?

It is an interesting question, if one considers the American attitude when Andrew Stack, a disgruntled computer engineer, flew a plane into the Austin, Texas branch of the Internal Revenue Service.

This writer remembers hearing jokes about the incident, people actually laughing. And under the jokes was a very real anger towards an agency that has abused the constitution by setting up its own courts, and other actions, and has recently been implicated in upsetting the election for the very presidency through the intimidation and over regulation of groups hostile to the regime of President Barack Obama.

That affair was quickly brushed under the table by the news media, and probably because the powers that be were actually worried that people might like the idea and cause further like incidents.

So if it was Muslim extremists, Arab Jihadists, Al-Qaeda itself, that flew a plane into the offices of the CIA at Langley, or the NSA offices, or even Homeland Security…would the American people care?

If Muslims flew planes not into the World Trade Centers, but into the CIA, NSA, ABC, DHS…or even The Fed…would we be feeling sorrow on 911? Or dancing in the streets?

Mind you, this writer is against war, and particular against terrorism, but the idea of terrorists actually picking out targets which were ‘on the side of the American people’ is so…so bizarre, he just had to bring it up.
