Gov Tests EBT System shutdown - Preparation for Martial Law

Apparently a faulty backup Generator is to blame for the loss of  EBT limits on Saturday causing hystarical shopping sprees across the country, begging the question, what was the real cause or intent behind the failure.  

I could see if a database crashed holding the limits and a redundant system was also down, but a backup power generator failing…

Come on, seriously?  For a backup generator to fail, we would have to infer that the primary power and UPS systems failed first.  A backup generator is just an illogical explanation for this entire event.  Besides Xerox like most other enterprise service providers operate in the Cloud, meaning that there are no physical data centers: http://www.consulting.xerox.com/cloud-computing-services/enus.html

A second explanation surfaced At 2 p.m., an EBT customer service representative told CBS Boston that the system was currently down for a computer system upgrade.

Unfortunately as history is teaching us, the truth may just be more strange than we could expect.  With missing nuclear weapons, a looming economic collapse, it is likely that this backup generator story is merely the excuse of the day for a much larger plan to test the shutdown of the EBT program in preparation for martial law.
