I like your ideas but there is one more idea, i have noticed over the last 15 years a definite decline in the quality of not only some parts, but of the people who are installing parts. to many people move from job to job anymore ( i know they have to ) and there is such a lack of real skilled people iin many fields. i fear your idea is more correct but maybe not.
I agree with you apache .There are no more trained people take your car into a Garage they hook it up to the darn Computer and tell you there is nothing wrong with it.
