Russians Race Riot Shuts Moscow Down: Hundreds Arrested, Massive Property Damage-- videos and pictures

Russian police have arrested over 300 people in a race riot. Russian nationalists raged for  hours, protesting the alleged murder of a man by a migrant.

Sunday, crowds chanted nationalistic slogans, including “Russia for Russians” and “white power”. Moscow police shut the city down with a city-wide security alert, which included hundreds of arrests after rioters set a shopping center on fire and busted shop windows. 

Squished melons, broken shop windows and burned cars litter Moscow’s streets, as cops bust heads and make arrests. It was an ugly scene.

Witnesses said the protesters threw empty beer bottles, clubs and even hammers at a riot police force that rushed to the scene in about a dozen buses.

“I cannot believe this is happening in our city,” one woman told Russian state television “I am afraid to let my children out on the street,” said another.
