A nail gun, yet… My, these guys are sure getting creative….
Daily Mail
A CEO has committed suicide by shooting himself multiple times with a nail gun, a coroner reported on Friday.
Richard Talley, 57, founder of American Title Services in Centennial, Colorado, was found dead in his home on Tuesday with up to eight wounds to the torso and head.
His company was being investigated by state insurance regulators at the time of Mr Talley’s suicide.
A family member found the 57-year-old dead in his garage, the Denver Post reported.
Mr Talley has been married to his wife Cheryl since 1989. He moved to Colorado from Chicago where he was a regional finance officer for Drexel Burnham Lambert.
He attended the University of Miami and Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
The Post also claimed that Talley had once said he was a member of the 1980 U.S. Olympic swimming team’ – but a spokesman for USA Swimming refuted this.
The Department Of Regulatory Agencies confirmed that an investigation was focused on Talley and the company to the Post but gave no additional information.
Talley had formed a number of companies, some of which closed down, including American Escrow, Clear Title, Clear Creek Financial Holdings, Swift Basin, Sumar, American Real Estate Services, and the American Alliance of Real Estate Professionals.
His funeral will be held on Saturday in Centennial.

Yes, but what they forgot to tell you is that before he shot himself 8 times with a nail gun, he ran himself over 3 times with his own car.

      • Krispy Critter

        This guy was small potato’s.

The nail gun was being foreclosed on, and lost it’s temper. Power tool revenge is a serious business, and can get very messy.

        • ElOregonian

Surely, all pneumatic nail guns will now have to be registered and/or banned. Of course, you’ll have to enroll in a government approved “Training” class that will cost around $100 to $150 each.

Well, everyone here said they wanted to see all of the bankers “nailed”, so this seems to be a good start, finally.

    • taptap

oh i love capitalism, the american dream at its best, create countless numbers of businesses, load up all the debt into one business and declare bankruptcy . its how mitt romney got so rich, oh well good ole USA and you the tea party and republicans still fight to protect this practice, shame on you

      • Intelharvest

Loading up on debt is Socialism, not Capitalism. Go thank your Socialist/Communist buddies for this mess.

Actually it’s called fascism, it’s alive and well in D.C., and they are pulling out all the stops with this regime. It’s corporations making all the profit while we the people take all the losses, be sure to thank your government, you know, the one you keep voting for(??)

      Yea right! Eight times…

      banker…………………………………..nail gun hmmmmmmmmm…………………….NOT!!!

I’ just a stupid girl and I don’t buy it

Men + suicide = definitive, effective, quick, successful

He wants to die……….shoots himself with a lame weapon, that he is unlikely to own or use, in stomach, then if he is not in debilitating, unnecessary pain, he then shoots a few times in the head? REALLY?!!!!! NOT!!!!!

people may be conned by the first stereotypical charades, but this one is about as unrealistic and lame as they could come up with. I better go drink some more fluoride so I can cope

      • back_up_for_the_boys

so now I read the other comments……………PRICELESS
        lmao

Since when does an owner of Title Companies become a Banker?? I actually met this guy years ago
and he was a nice and professional and his Rep was one of the best for difficult title work in the state! RIP

“Suiciding” has been around for a long time. But since the Clintons had so many inconvenient people this euphemism for gangland-style execution has gotten a foothold in the common vernacular. Whatever PTBs are responsible must get a kick out of their own absurd-in-our-face humor –as in — because they “can”.

    • Intelharvest

Reminds me of the Clinton years and everyone they “suicided”. Tying up some lose ends are we?

    • billy bob

He’s a really good shot, guess there was no misses

    • U=no=IT

I’m surprised he did not leave a suicide note. Just another depressed banker.

    • Anonymous

So, is this the 4th or the 5th banker that’s killed himself lately. And ‘suicide’ by nail gun? Really? How much did they pay or threaten the Medical Examiner?

    • MrAnthony

Not as unusual as you would think. Some suicides show “hesitation marks” as the person builds up enough nerve to commit a fatal wound. If the initial nail wasn’t fatal, which might be possible with a nail in a lung or lower torso, it’s entirely possible that the person would keep pulling until he or she was unable to do so any longer. A nail gun is not the same as a firearm, as the amount of force is less than a bullet, and a nail is designed to stop after a certain distance. Also, if the person had been drinking or using drugs, it’s possible as well that he didn’t feel pain or wasn’t placing the nail gun in a position to do a “one-shot kill.”

Finally, this guy wasn’t a banker. He was some kind of financial con-artist involving title companies (which, duh, aren’t banks), as evidenced by the fact that he was under investigation by the State Insurance regulators in Colorado.

They made a deal with the devil, now they have to pay their debt.
Like many, I’m unconvinced of ‘suicide’.
