NASA: Industrial Civilization Headed For ‘Irreversible Collapse’
via Raw Story
A new study sponsored by NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center has highlighted the prospect that global industrial civilisation could collapse in coming decades due to unsustainable resource exploitation and increasingly unequal wealth distribution.
Noting that warnings of ‘collapse’ are often seen to be fringe or controversial, the study attempts to make sense of compelling historical data showing that “the process of rise-and-collapse is actually a recurrent cycle found throughout history.” Cases of severe civilisational disruption due to “precipitous collapse — often lasting centuries — have been quite common.”
We all know this because we talk about it everyday. Thanks for confirming it for us NASA. We could be very well headed there now considering the damage we do to ourselves and to the Earth. Fracking, tar sands, nuclear power plants, its all junk. It’s all a cancer on the Earth. I look forward to the day humans get back to their roots and connect with their mother earth again.

Sounds cynical but it´s only realistic
to say:
“The sooner, the better. For the turmoil will end faster, then.”
I wait, and sow my first ruccola and radish.

Yeah and who holds the power in those areas of exploitation? Oh wait it is the same people who PAY NASA, talk about walking in circles and hoping we don’t learn how to hit moving targets.
