The technology is in its infancy however already innovators have printed solar cells with the technology, toys, parts and weapons. 3D printers will also soon be printing out houses as the Chinese have displayed recently. Imagine having your own little factory able to print out utensils, plastic goods and tools in only a few minutes. 3D printers are already revolutionizing manufacturing in the 21st Century and the price is steadily dropping on the technology which will allow ‘consumers’ to become producers in the near future.

The myth of cold fusion may actually be true if the amount of companies innovating this technology has any credence. From the e-cat to hyberion low energy nuclear reaction brings power and heat generation into the household. Though using a material like hemp for cars has been around since the days of Henry Ford, though few companies tried innovating with hemp-built automobiles since then. One of the exceptions is Canadian based Motive Industries and their innovative eco-friendly car named Kestrel. The body of Kestrel is made of impact-resistant sheets of hemp and is much stronger than steel, cheaper and totally bio-friendly.Hemp, or cannabis, is a great underutilized resource that is easy to grow and extremely strong and versatile. The kestrel’s hemp-composite body passed rigorous impact tests with flying colours and was said to bounce back into shape after impact. Is this the future of the automobile industry?
