The most important political development in 200 years was triggered last week, when the state legislature of Michigan became the 34 th state to demand a “Constitutional Convention” in the United States. Under Article 5 of the US Constitution, if 2/3rds of the states call for such a convention, (meaning 34 states) it MUST take place. During such a convention, the ENTIRE Constitution can be changed; nothing is off-limits. This would even allow the States to dismantle the federal government without its consent, and repudiate the debt which that government has incurred! When it voted for the convention last week, Michigan became the 34 th state, thus meeting the requirement.
A goal has been reached behind what would be an unprecedented effort to amend the U.S. Constitution, through a little-known provision that gives states rather than Congress the power to initiate changes. This is the most significant political development in the entire world in the last 200 years.

Because the “so called main stream media” is not reporting it could mean it could go either way.
I could see that if this were good for the people and the constitution the main stream media wouldn’t necessarily want people to know about it. On the other hand, if this is bad for the people, the current corrupt government and the Constitution I can again see the main stream media trying to keep it under wraps.

This isnt a rare thing. This happens alot and itsnt news. Yes its open to suggest changes but those changes will have to pass through congress, its not just willy nilly. There have been over 10,000 suggestions under situations like this in the past….a very small % of that have actually made it thought.

Be careful what you wish for! There are infiltrators everywhere and if these people change the constitution that wouldn’t necessarily be a good thing. Why do they want to change the constitution anyway? It’s the most perfect document ever written and gave the people power, all we need is a new government with real people in it that follow that perfect document.
That is probably what is intended.
At the very least, it has a great potential to backfire. At the very most, it is a highly calculated scheme to permanently delete the remaining fragments of the Constitution.
This may not be a negative thing. Since the thirteenth amendment states have had NO rights. If the STATES are calling for something to change, and there are 34 of them, you KNOW their views are way different just look at California and Pennsylvania, I don’t see them coming together to take away a whole nations rights, but very possibly asking for the right to run their own states as THEY see fit without the oversight of the federal government. That would also explain WHY the NATIONAL media would want to keep hush hush, because it could be taking AWAY power from the Federal level……..

I fear it’s far too late and 90% of our gov’t is corrupt and compromised for this to be a good thing in any way. This is how they’re going to kill the 2nd Amendment. i hate to bust your bubble, but the States have already reached the requisite 34 petitions on many occasions. Here’s one example going back to 1929 taken directly from the Congressional Record in which 35 States had petitioned for an Article V Constitutional Convention…

Here’s proof of even more incidences when the requisite 2/3rds amount of the State Legislatures was met. This list of Amendments was compiled by 2 lawyers who had discovered that not once since the inception of the US Constitution has Congress ever bothered to even keep a running tally on the number of State legislatures that have petitioned for an Article V Constitutional Convention. Such is the arrogance of the US Mafia Congress. In fact, whenever a State Legislature petitions the US Congress for an Article V Convention, the US Congress merely records it in the Congressional Record “in memoriam” only to be in effect forgotten forever into antiquity and essentially for all intents and purposes discarded into a Congressional black hole. No effort to keep a running tally which is implied by Article V is even made. They could care less about the power and sovereignty of the States that created the US Constitution and the US Congress in the first place…
