Two point of correction for your article
1. The airborne radiation plume from Fukushima came over to the western coast of the USA within a week of the disaster on 11th March 2011. The waterborne plume took longer but has been on the west coast for years now
2. The lower picture is of a Japanese lady suffering from flash burns caused by thermal not ionising radiation. You can tell this from the burn pattern imprinted on this poor lady’s skin
