IRS Claims It Has "Insufficient Funding To Adequately Serve Taxpayers"
Freedom Outpost
Is this some new kind of joke or what…nope I’m afraid not boys and girls. The single most feared agency of the government is actually claiming that the “need” more money. Now, some of you may ask “why?”
Well, according to Mary Lou Byrd of the Washington Free Beacon:
“The IRS has spent $96.5 million on office furniture under the Obama administration and is now claiming it has insufficient funding to adequately serve taxpayers.
Treasury Secretary Jack Lew testified before the House two weeks ago about the IRS’ need for additional funding for the upcoming fiscal year. The IRS is currently seeking an increase of $1.2 billion—a 7 percent raise over its FY 2014 $11.29 billion budget. It would bring the agency’s FY 2015 budget to $12.48 billion.
A review of contracts by the Washington Free Beacon shows the IRS in the past five fiscal years has spent $96.5 million refurbishing IRS offices across the country. Those contracts include fiscal years 2010 through 2014.
That amount already exceeds what the agency spent during the entire eight years under President George W. Bush, fiscal years 2002 through 2009.”

Check their books and see how many parties and bonuses they paid each other. Else if or then go to the Fed Reservoir and drink some Kool Aid or print more money unless the EPA has considered the trees and recycling of paper a endangered commodity.
More furniture less audits. Too bad the remaining audits go to political enemies.

All government agencies are underfunded do to the low tax rates in America….
What? They don’t have enough funding to adequately serve the people? This sounds like the best thing that has happened to the people they serve since the IRS was founded.
It seems that all that has been found detrimental about the IRS in the last two years alone warrants it’s complete dismantling and a system put in place that is simple. A system that does not make people a potential criminal or debtor every April 15th.
A sales tax should be used for every new item sold in the US that does not ever exceed 7%, excludes food, property, and other greedy taxes like the death tax. An item can only be taxed once. That means if it is a used car there is no sales tax. If you are having a yard sale and selling off some old items, no tax. If a tax is paid on something like your home and property then that tax is paid and cannot ever be charged again. That would end “property” tax which is nothing but double taxation on steroids. If the federal government cannot operate on that then the federal government should downsized until such a time that it can operate comfortably within that income range. I know there are other details that would need to be worked out but, imagine how fast the economy would take off if the shackles of the federal and state taxes were removed. Imagine being able to control how much tax you pay simply by regulating how much you spend rather than how much you earn. It seems to me that in this country everything is bassackwards. The more you make or create the more you are penalized. That is insane. But the whole damned US tax code is insane. So convoluted it is that most federal tax employees cannot understand it. We the people deserve better. We the people should demand better. 100 million dollars for furniture? Are you kidding me? Of course not. Why do they continually do this to the American people? Two reasons. One is because they can. The second is because we let them.
I guess the IRS figures that if it is going to be doing the ‘dirty’ work for the Central Bankers and see all the Wall Street crimminals getting a pass – then at least they should be paid for their ‘bag man’ collections!
