Friday The 13th: An Unlucky Day…For The Elites!

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Friday the 13th…

…has always been considered “unlucky” to some, just another day to others, and absolutely frightening to a small handful of people who suffer from a genuine fear of the so called “bad-luck” day – and I’m sure that tonight’s full moon isn’t helping the paraskevidekatriaphobics feel any better!

But why is Friday the 13th even considered unlucky in the first place? After all it’s just a date on the calendar that shows up every once in a while – what’s the big deal?

Personally, I certainly don’t buy into any form of superstition, or even the concept of “luck” – good or bad – but I strongly believe that the very tiny portion of the world’s population affectionately known as the “elite” (or more infamously, “them”) have good reason to dislike today’s particular date.

You see, it was on a Friday (the 13th to be exact!) in October 1307 that King Philip IV of France, who had conspired with Pope Clement V, called for the arrest of every known member of the Order of The Knights Templar and their Grand Master, Jacques De Molay.

Putting aside for the moment all the conspiracy “theories” surrounding this wickedly powerful secret society, mainstream history lends credence to the idea that The Templars were basically the original “International Bankers” – that is to say, that they founded the concept of a mercantile system of banking – making themselves incredibly wealthy off their dealings with the world’s leaders of the time; and simply put, King Philip happened to be heavily in debt to the Knights Templar.

Research suggests that Philip had aspirations of acquiring the fabled riches of the Templars for himself, and long dreamed of the opportunity to destroy the Order and confiscate all their treasuries and properties in France. But to make his dreams a reality, he had to do so legally.

So the story goes that King Philip’s plan was to arrest every single Templar in France, charge them with heresy, and use torture to exact confessions from them – he must have figured that by making the charges religious in nature, Philip would be considered a loyal servant of God and no one would suspect he was really a brazen thief!

So after much cunning, the use of deceptive tactics, and numerous secret communications with the Pope that ultimately secured the church’s full support, Philip’s careful planning of almost 2 years “paid off” at dawn on Friday, October 13, 1307 when hundreds of the king’s men simultaneously opened the sealed arrest orders they had received the month before – each of them having been instructed that the letter was not to be opened until the appointed day.

The meticulously planned assault was extremely successful and swift – accounts vary, but most researchers agree that over 600 members of the Order were arrested in the first wave, including the Preceptors of Normandy, Cyprus, and Aquitaine; the Visitor-General; the Templars’ Royal Treasurer; and the Grand Master himself – effectively cutting the head off the order.

By the end of the day, the Templar order was utterly destroyed and hundreds of Templar knights were executed, most of them burned at the stake. Many more were tortured and worse over the course of the next several years.

As for the Grand Master – Jacques De Molay was slowly burnt to death in front of Notre Dame cathedral on March 18th, 1314.

As he died in agony, he allegedly screamed forth a curse against King Philip IV and Pope Clement V.

Both men died within the year – Clement of illness and Philip in a hunting accident.

A combination of the arrests, the dissolution of the Templar Order, the torture and execution of the Knights, and the burning of Jacques De Molay – in particular his curse, followed by the death of the King and the Pope – led to the rise of the idea that Friday the 13th was a day of bad luck.

Now, consider this – research strongly suggests that the Knights Templars were not completely destroyed, but rather that the surviving members went into hiding and continued their work in secret, only to re-emerge in Europe during the 1700s as the modern Freemasons – arguably the largest secret society ever known, whose influential members include some of the most powerful world players and self-appointed social engineers.

Further study shows that some of the “elites” pushing for the so-called “N.W.O” (including “Mr. New world Order” himself – George H. Walker Bush ) are actually related to original members of the Order of The Knights Templar, which was so savagely and unexpectedly persecuted against on a Friday the 13th.

That being said…

If I was one of the soulless devils who think they own this planet; if I was one of the “elites” with ties to the secret societies that hold the late Grand Master De Molay in high regards; if I was just a lonely single member of this tiny group that is severely outnumbered and always subject to extreme scrutiny or in danger of a repeat of the events that almost meant the end of such a powerful Order as the Templars – then I suppose I might consider this day “unlucky” as well…
