ISIS seems contrived to me. It feels like we are allowing, if not actively fomenting, the creation and establishment of a new enemy where we have plenty of power to prevent it.
But this revived Caliphate fits in with my take on Bible prophecy; and allowing and encouraging it fits with my take on Obama – he views America as a neocolonial monster, and enemies getting stronger are a great countermeasure to help bring the USA down a peg.
