Will more than half the world’s people be dead on the planet from Ebola within 20 months? I do not know, but I wrote down the figures, should the rate of death rates continue unchecked, as is the case now.
People talk about exponential growth rates for Ebola, but until you see what a doubling rate does to the numbers in a cold hard tabular fashion, it is hard to believe.
If Ebola continues unchecked at the present rate, more than half the world’s population will be dead within 20 months. Ebola is the Elephant in the room or now on the world stage.
The table below shows a doubling rate once a month. Many people say it is now closer to 3 weeks.

That’s a big number, but if the theoretical death rate held true, the rest of the planet earth would be dead by the next month (which would be a more spectacular headline), wouldn’t they?
Besides, as the author ultimately points out, his death rate by October 2014 has already been eclipsed, so what’s the point of carrying out an arbitrary “death doubling” other than to show you’re able to count?
One thing we think we know so far is that only 60% of infected are dying. According to the google, there are currently about 7.263B people on earth (http://www.worldometers.info/world-population/), so 60% of that number (assuming everyone on earth was ultimately infected) would be… 4,357,819,632… or about 67,000,000 more people than the author assumed. Again, that’s assuming every person on earth was infected.
If you’ve played much Plague, Inc., you know how hard it is to get a virus to infect Greenland unless you initiate the disease there, so I’m going to stick my neck out and say a number in the 4+ billion dead range is a bit of a stretch.

Alright use some common sense. It is in Africa.It was engineered to wipe out most of the African continent. Most of the developed countries always boast about their national resources, especially how abundant they are. This is not the case!!! Most of our countries have already used up most to nearly all natural resources.
