Islamists Torch 185 Churches In Nigeria (Video)

A prominent Nigerian reverend has revealed Islamist terror group Boko Haram destroyed over 180 churches in the West African country following its capture of towns and villages in the north-eastern states of Borno and Adamawa. Reverend Gideon Obasogie, the director of Catholic Social Communication of Maiduguri Diocese in Borno State, said the group’s seizure of territory in both states has seen 185 churches torched and over 190,000 people displaced by their insurgency. In his statement, Obasogie said Boko Haram’s “ransacking and torching” of churches had forced priests to leave their homes for two months while displaced civilians were still unable to return to their towns and villages. He added the destruction of churches was “sad, heart-aching and potentially dangerous to the territorial integrity and common good of Nigeria.” “It is over 30 days now that our church communities in Gulak, Shuwa, Michika, Bazza were ransacked by the callous attacks of the Boko Haram terrorists,” the statement said
And the west is doing what to stop this? Whatever happened to Christians defending and helping one another? Boko Haram has free reign over there. The army isn’t doing a whole lot to stop the attacks. They are incapable. Below in the video are stories of the persecuted.

religion is just one more excuse(that we could really do without).
people,on behalf of whichever deity or religion they worship,have been torturing and killing each other for millenia.
historically christianity has killed more than any religion to date.
however,now,islam is becoming as dangerous,if not more so,since they retain a medieval society in a world where they have guns,missiles and bombs.
it is bad enough hearing one sect of islam shouting allah akbar as they fire at another sect who are shouting allah akbar as they shoot back.
however the koran teaches muslims that non-muslims must convert or be killed.

what will happen before this clash of cultures ends? probably mutual destruction on a local and global scale.
the only way forward is if we ALL stop prostrating ourselves to made-up invisible men in the sky,christians and muslims alike. just be human.
