Urgent Sensitive Wal-Mart Memo: What Do They Know That We Don't? FACT: They'd Be One Of The First To Know About A Collapse

by Pete Santilli, The Pete Santilli Show & The Guerilla Media Network

A “sensitive” internal memo has been distributed to all Wal-Mart store members which urges stores to purge all “Chilled and Fresh” items in its dairy, meat and produce departments.  Essentially, the call has gone out to all stores to discount and purge all perishables ASAP!  Wal-Mart does not typically put out “urgent and sensitive” memos to their stores unless something major is brewing. This is NOT just a blue light special.

It is known that Wal-Mart has a very close relationship with the Department of Homeland Security.  In fact, this author has a family member who is extremely high up in Wal-Mart’s corporate chain of command, and has disclosed that Wal-Mart works closely with DHS ad FEMA as a necessary distribution channel to distribute goods as part of the disaster and emergency relief supply chain, and additionally has worked with DHS by installing facial recognition cameras at the entrances and exits of every Wal-Mart store in their chain.  The database of electronic transactions, as well as matching facial scans of every customer is uploaded to DHS servers and used as a cross reference of ID on the almost 80% of the U.S. population which frequents their local Wal-Mart to shop.

Knowing this closely connected relationship, could Wal-Mart be purging their perishables because they have inside information from the DHS about an impending event to take place within the USA?  This “urgent and sensitive” memo is very, very disturbing and should cause great alarm among the general population —- which unfortunatey does not have inside access to U.S. Government information.

Both Reuters and the New York Times has publsihed information regarding this Wal-Mart memo:

(Reuters) – Wal-Mart stores Inc issued an “urgent agenda” memo to its store managers across the United States last month, laying out guidelines to boost sales of “chilled and fresh” food, the New York Times reported.

New York Times / VALLEY STREAM, N.Y. — The dairy section in the Walmart supercenter here, just across the border from Queens, was sparsely stocked. Some gallon jugs of milk were dented, others soiled with what looked like dirt. The meat aisle had run out of ground beef patties and strip steak, and residue streaked some shelves.

The disarray and out-of-stock items at just one store appear to be examples of wider problems that Walmart is pressing store managers to address.

Last month, the retailer issued an “urgent agenda” memo to managers across the country pushing them to improve performance on “Chilled and Fresh” items in its dairy, meat and produce departments, part of an effort by Walmart to stem long-sluggish sales. It also reflected customer complaints that Walmart has received in recent years as it has expanded offerings of organic foods and produce, often at cheaper prices than its competitors.

The memo, marked “highly sensitive,” tells Walmart marketing managers to make sure that the company’s 4,965 United States stores discount aging meat and baked goods to maximize the chance that those items will sell before their expiration dates. The memo — leaked for public use by a Walmart manager unhappy about understaffing — also tells stores to be sure to “rotate” dairy products and eggs, which means removing expired items and adding new stock at the bottom and back of display cases.

That’s funny, I work at one in the south. We’re doing just fine. Could it be that the stores up there are running low on things because of the arctic front? Just a thought.

      • HotFish

Walmart HATES having to donate to the food bank. Theyd rather sell at a loss than help the needy.

They know the event of the leap is about to occur. They think they are going to stay and have their world war and fema camp game. That’s not going to happen. Earth moves with us.

      • wakeupsheeple

        exactly my thoughts too!

YOU PEOPLE STILL DON’T GET IT, even while you sound the alarm, YOU STILL DON’T UNDERSTAND THE MODE OF YOUR DEMISE!

The email is warning of dairy products, dairy products and meat fats is where radiation is most concentrated. Also the Ebola survives longer on cold surfaces. If a person infected with Ebola coughs on products in the dairy section the virus will most effectively be spread. If Ebola is spreading in the general population then it is on these products that it will be spread widely, as those infected will believe they have the flu and not refrain from coughing.
There was just a hurricane in Japan over Fukushima that greatly raised radiation rates, there is no indication yet that workers have returned to the plant, it could now be becoming a dirty bomb. California got its first rain in months last week, the great amount of radiation in the upper atmosphere comes down now every time it rains, and especially more concentrated when it has not rained for a long period. Those radiation exposures would NOW be showing up in dairy products and soon in meat.
If public testing reveals high rates of radiation in these products, everyone will stop buying them, thus, Walmart must keep its on shelf supply lean.

People will low IQs will have a very hard time surviving the great disaster that has just begun.

Walmart could always start selling bubbles, for people to live in….

      • No time

        • Theron

          That’s 300,000 Tons, not gallons.

    • Three69ingSquirrels

So, Walmart wanting to increase sales of fresh and dairy produce instead of losing the produce as it seems was happening is suspicious because…?

Isn’t it the aim of any business to try and lose the least amount of stock, even if it means to sell it discounted?

I think this is reading too much into things.

      • pdeibn

I work at a Walmart, and this is just fear mongering. Walmart wants to discount soon to expire Items so they can make some money off of it rather than throw it out at a total loss.

    • Bill Lyle

Rotating stock is commmon practice in all grocery stores, and Walmart is no exception. If there’s a “sensitive” document reinforcing this practice, all it means is that one of their stores was busted with expired product in their perishables sections.
      Yet another Non-story.

    • Bill Lyle

Another Non-Story. Rotating stock is mandatory practice, in any grocery store. This “Urgent Sensitive” memo, is nothing more than Walmart covering their arses. Some schmuck probably forgot to rotate mild, and a customer found an expired carton. Customer complains to corporate office, and everyone gets an email. Slow news day, GMW?

    • Pink Slime

Huh? Seems Walmart is just falling behind in upkeep and a reminder by the USDA?

    • Bill Lyle

I’m extatic that Walmart puts out memos, reminding their employees to rotate their perishable stock. It should be common practice, but I guess not. Another Non Story. Slow news day, GMN?

    • Dustdevil

After reading all the comments, I have to agree. Nothing really strange about a memo telling managers to ‘rotate stock, discount soon-to-expire items, etc.’. After all, isn’t that kinda SOP for all grocery stores? The BIG PROBLEM isn’t Walmart, but local stores with brain-dead whiny workers who put fresh stock in front, leave busted cartons in the case, don’t clean the shelves, etc. The sad problem is that no one who still has a job in this country takes enough pride to actually do the work required that these memos have to even be written to start with.

Disgruntled manager? Tell you what, take a trip to Walmart some night around midnight, watch 22 workers in the cold-foods area walking around, scratching their arse, playing games, etc. Night shift is supposed to stock, rotate and clean predominantly. If these three tasks aren’t happening, you look to night shift FIRST. Don’t get mad at Walmart to you walk in at midnight and see everyone actually working – until then, it’s employee retention of the ‘least desirables’ that’s causing your problem.

      • Glassy

I think you hit the nail on the head when you said ” this country takes enough pride to actually do the work required”
I don’t know if its pride, or IQ, but this isn’t just Walmart this is every $7-10 an hr job. This is what happens when you take away the middle class.
Its funny, they try to come up with solutions to this problem by importing and/or allowing immigrants to come take these jobs, but that doesn’t solve the problem.
I just moved 2 months ago, and apparently I am “The best worker” most people have ever seen. It’s not because I work harder than everyone, its because I use my brain and I take pride in what I do.
How many GOOD restaurants are in your citys/towns? NOT MANY, why? No pride, because these places don’t pay for pride, they pay for you to show up and squeak out the day.

Here’s my experience with our local Walmart. Went there last week to pick up some beef cuts. I had to return them once I got home and opened the package – the beef on the top looked great however the beef on the bottom was old and rancid. Where they just hiding the bad beef below the ones you see on top so the item could move? That was my third bad experience buying discount meat at Walmart – never again. Happened with hot dogs too back in the summer. Sure they took it back but just the hassle makes it not worth buying meat from them again. Fruits and dairy products ok but stay away from meat at Walmart.

    • AirAmericaCaptain

It couldn’t be the prohibitive high costs of beef ,poultry and dairy products could be the problem right? People cannot afford these items anymore,,thanks to Obama’s Ethanol Mandate, which jacked up the price of feed corn for the farmers, and ultimately for US !! :!:

    • truthzilla

There were warnings last week of a large CME event…Who knows…If you’re not prepared for cataclysmic events you will wish you were…Always have alternative power, communication devices and anything else you deem necessary to your surviving for up to a month…As well as always having a Bug out Bag in case the poop hits the fan! Good luck to all and hopefully nothing happens.

    • kal98

our wal -mart is doing just fine but the sheeple will continue to shop till they drop! Think I’ll just max out all my cc just in case!

    • Bucky

      ho hum

    • AnyOne

REALLY??? How dumb….. someone with an actual brain to think would realize this is common practice with all stores!!!!!

I think the stupid virus is more rampant than we thought…..and YES there really is a stupid virus!

    • Andoron

The biggest problem with people who are involved with the truther movement, or conspiratorial research is an extreme lack of follow through to verify the veracity of the information. A lot of disinformation is running around to discourage any real honest research. The people who disseminate this information without diligent fact finding, are only enabling the spread of the disinformation. This does more harm than good.

    • NWO for Dummies.

I would still keep in mind Walmarts relationship with DHS, FEMA and their shenanigans come the economic crash.

    • iamamerican

I would like to see Walmart stores shut down, my brother works at the local Walmart as a stocker which means he works at the night shift [10-7] the empty suits at the corporate offices who seem to be completely out of touch with reality in Arkansas decided to pick on the lowest paid employees at Walmart stores [my brother included] by forcing them to wear uniforms, those uniforms will be paid for by the employees, and by the way these employees can buy their uniforms at Walmart!
THIS IS WHY PEOPLE HATE WALMART

    • Mysstress Rosy

Gee weren’t you even a little sheepish at making such a mountain out of a mole hill??? obviously you have no idea how retail works. Still rolling my eyes.
