Obama’s Executive Amnesty 2015.Texas Congressman Lamar Smith dubbed it the worst “Prison Break” In History. Two years ago, ICE officials released into the United States, more than 36,000 illegals with 88,000 convictions under their belt. 200 convictions of homicide, 400 sexual assault convictions, 300 kidnapping convictions and around 16,000 drunk or drugged driving convictions. According to U.S. Census figures Illegals will account for 51 million of the U.S. Population a historic 82 percent of the population. Scarcity of Jobs For U.S. Citizens And Major Cultural Changes Aside. By 2023, One In Seven U.S. Residents could potentially have a criminal past overlooked by the U.S. Government.
DEPORTATIONS DECLINE IN WAKE OF OBAMA’S EXECUTIVE AMNESTY
The number of deportations from the U.S. have declined 25 percent in the first half of this fiscal year compared to the same time last year, according to a new report.
For the first six months of fiscal year 2015, the U.S. deported just 117,181 people, compared to the 157,365 people deported in that same time frame last year, theWashington Times reports.
A major difference between this year and last is President Obama’s executive actions on immigration, which not only sought to grant legal status and worker permits to millions of illegal immigrants but also placed even more limitations on immigration enforcement.
The data also continues the trend of deportation decline underway since Obama moved forward with his first executive amnesty program, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.
The Times notes that since 2012, when Obama first began shielding illegal immigrant “childhood arrivals” from deportation, the number of deportations has declined 41 percent.
In addition to the raw totals, the Times reports that deportations of criminal immigrants are also on the decline. This fiscal year through April 4, the government had only deported 68,000 criminals, a 30 percent decline from the same period last year at 96,500. READ MORE
Obama’s Executive Amnesty Appears To Be In Trouble In The Fifth Circuit Court
Good news: The President’s recent action on immigration is still running into resistance in the courts.
On Friday, attorneys for the Obama administration argued before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans. They were asking for a stay of a lower court judge’s ruling preventing the administration from moving forward with its executive amnesty designs.
It does not appear that they are going to win.
The three-judge panel consisted of two Republican appointees and one Democratic appointee. That’s a problem for President Obama because Republican-appointed judges tend to take the Constitution seriously.
One of the two Republican-appointed justices used Obama’s own statements against a Justice Department lawyer.
The sole Democratic appointee on the court noted that the President’s actions could discourage illegal immigrants from applying for programs that offer them work permits.
It looks like it’s going to be 2-1 in favor of the good guys when everything is said and done here.
The Constitutional principle of separation of powers survives for at least another day, the objections of the President notwithstanding. SOURCE
