Baltimore Rising: Baltimore PD Caught Brutalizing Another Citizen (Video)

Baltimore- By now most of you have probably heard about what the Baltimore Police did to a 25 yr old black man by the name of Freddie Gray. If you haven’t, we will do a short recap for you. Freddie Gray was a 25 yr old black man who was arrested for the so-called crime of running away from the police. According to the police report the reason that they started chasing him was because he ran away from them, and in Police State Amerika that now raises officers suspicions, especially if you are in a known drug dealing area.  The police report further states that they found an illegal switch blade knife on him but provided no other reason for their pursuit of him.

According to eyewitness Kevin Moore who was a friend of Gray and witnessed his arrest and saw him “screaming for his life” with his face planted in the ground. According to Moore, One officer had his knee on Gray’s neck, while another officer was bending his legs backwards. Moore said that “They folded Gray up like a he was a crab or a piece of origami,” Moore said, “ He was all bent up”

At 8:42 a.m., police requested a transport van at the scene.

At that point Gray, who had asthma, asked for an inhaler, but Moore said police ignored the request.

Batts has said Gray’s trouble breathing was not given the proper attention at “one or two” of the van’s subsequent stops.

Another eyewitness said she winced when police hoisted Gray. His legs appeared broken to her, though police have said Gray suffered no broken bones. Bystanders got more vocal. “Call the ambulance!” Booze remembers saying as police tried to disperse the crowd.

“Police were telling everyone to leave because they didn’t want anyone taping,” Booze said. “They got real smart and nasty.”

When all was said and done Gray eventually died due to the police brutalizing his body.

Because of this incident, many people began to protest this act of police brutality that eventually turned into Riots do to the heavy hand the Baltimore police were using on the protesters.  

After the riots started, that then gave the mayor of Baltimore the excuse to call in military troops into the streets of Baltimore and declare Martial Law.

Well, I guess the Baltimore police have not quite learned their lesson, as they were caught on video brutalizing another Baltimore Citizen this past Sat night.
