Get it over with already.

What I find pretty amazing is that those at the top end of the healthcare industry rarely get vaccinated themselves. A few years back I was forced to undergo a series of tests that required many doctor and hospital visits. It was during the phony pandemic. I being opposed to this toxic mix of health damaging agents decided to do an informal investigation. I wanted to establish some reliable stats that would provide an accurate picture of the situation. I had suspected there might be some that opted out of being jabbed but I never expected what I eventually discovered.

Out of over thirty members of Kaiser’s physicians, nursing, support staff and house cleaning that the wife and I polled only one physician claimed to have voluntarily received the flu vaccination. Based on her facial expression and posturing when confronted with the question I suspect she was not being candid.

I later did a similar survey with cholesterol drugs focusing specifically on physicians. Most physicians do not take the same drugs that they prescribe to their patients. Every single doctor I asked gave me exactly the same answer. To reduce cholesterol they consume an increased dosage of omega 3. My own cholesterol was off the chart. When trying this myself within months my cholesterol was significantly reduced. Within a year I was within a healthy range. No cholesterol drugs required.

The medical industrial complex is so corrupt. They are no different than the military industrial complex. One recent example is how us American citizens who suffer from chronic pain are being intimidated and abused for the sake of corporate profit. Because nearly sixty percent of returning service personnel who have been exposed to depleted uranium have debilitating chronic pain. Because Fibromyalgia and chronic pain syndrome among baby-boomers is at epidemic levels nation wide the medical industry would of course have to bear the expense of treating their pain. Something they are not willing to do.

The two preferred generic substitutes used to replace the more costly brand name opiates painkillers are Hydrocodone and Oxycodone. As the demand for these drugs increased so did the wholesale price. This meant reduced annual profit. The industry trying to avoid any that loss needed a way around it. And yes I said profit. Kaiser is a “not for profit” not a nonprofit which is totally different, but that’s another story. In short the latter is allowed to generate a profit where the first is not.

What they devised was a nefarious plan to use inflated stats provided by the the same CDC who deliberately misled the public about a profit generating phony pandemic. They created the false narrative claiming the existence of factory pill mills, out of control prescription drug abuse and a heart wrenching depictions of our children robbing their parent’s medicine cabinets and dying in droves. I suggest that if we do the math comparing the total amount of medication actually manufactured and sold in the USA, all that had been legitimately prescribed and used by patients, verses the CDC’s false stats we would easily see that the amount the CDC contends hit the streets is virtually impossible. The number just don’t add up. They obviously lied again!

Anyway CDC armed with phoney stats and a well established fable took there plan to the FDA who in harmonic collaboration started the federal ball rolling. Soon the DEA chimed in intimidating doctors and providing incentives for them to ignore the needs of their patients. In turn all federal, state regulatory boards and agencies issued recommendations. They disingenuously put into place safeguards for physicians who did prescribe opiates.

Sadly the focus or stealth objective was the quiet creation of restrictive policy not responding to the agony of suffering patients. The purpose was apparently to create obstacles, barriers and impossible mandates that would make either compliance impossible or dissuade any patients who are sensitive to degrading treatment from seeking or continuing pain therapy. They knew any sustained loss from lawsuits would be minimal in comparison to the profits saved. They understood from a medical standpoint that a majority of these patients due to socioeconomic conditions (poverty) and their overwhelming concentration on alleviating untreated pain would be less inclined to defend themselves in a court of law.

In the DEA and AMA recommendations doctors are instructed to require patients to jump through a number of ridiculous hoops in order to receive relief. Before continuing let me point out that According to the American medical Associations own stats, chronic pain patients are three time less likely to misuse or abuse their prescriptions pain medication than the general population, three times! The reason of course is that they need pain relief in order to appreciate any measurable quality of life. I am more than sure there are exceptions, but the problem has been purposely been exaggerated and responsibility taped to the backs of some of society’s most vulnerable. In spite of this very telling reality these are the very patients that being blamed abuse and targeted with intrusive and demeaning corporate policy.

One of the mandates I personally found laughable is the requirement for a doctor/patient contract that is created in addition to the one initiated for medical services. It treats patients like criminals without cause. This contract is in essence in addition to the contract and provisions appreciated by the general patient population. In this contract the patient has to literally agree in writing not to be a criminal. Nobody in America is required to sign a contract with local, state and federal law enforcement promising we wont speed, rob or murder other citizens, this requirement on the disabled appears discriminatory to me. This is intimidation and nothing more. It makes you feel as though you must prove you are not a crook. Even where there exist no indication of prescription abuse these patients are being treated like they did something wrong!

Next patients must agree to attend an eight week, eight hour a day pain clinic. In class they will be taught ineffective pain relief mechanisms like Massage Therapy, Hands On and Biofeedback techniques. Treatments that seldom if ever have any impact on the degree of pain we are talking about here. I suppose I should highlight that these patients are on opiates therapies only after long tedious evaluations and painstakingly horrid experimentation with nonnarcotic and off label pharmaceuticals. This is standard protocol.

For moderate to severe pain doctors who actually care about their patient’s internal organs and long term health do sometimes prescribe opiates to their patient’s for short term pain, however let me emphasize that this dishonest contention that suggests physicians are handing them out like candy is a self serving false narrative. It is a con job.

What we never hear about on TV, in the newspaper or mentioned anywhere for that matter is how with modern technology all licensed pharmacies in the USA are all linked together. All prescription data is available to both medical professionals and governing law enforcement officials. If abuse is ever detected local and federal authorities are immediately informed. The offender would be arrested before months end. With this in mind we need to ask the logical question “what kind of idiot would spend over a hundred fifty-thousand dollars in tuition to attend medical school only to throw that lucrative career down the toilet peddling small amounts of prescription drugs?” They wouldn’t, there goes the pill milling accusation out the window.

Let’s face it there would be less risk and more profit if the doctors started selling street drugs. I would bet my last Vicodine those physicians who would in fact compromise themselves are few and far between. Sure some deranged Hippocrates must exist somewhere, but I worked in criminal rehab in the State of California prison system. Fact is I don’t ever recall coming across not even a single doctor convicted of this kind of crime. Not a one!

In addition to the above, patients must relinquish their Forth Amendment right to privacy and their inherent right to make their own medical decisions, control over their bio-materials and right to Bill of Rights legal protection. Suffering patients who have done absolutely nothing wrong are required to participate in personally demeaning random drug screening regimens that are not supported by any legitimately obtained legal writ, court order or warrant. If the patient refuses based on a principled belief in constitutional protections all treatment is immediately stopped leaving the patient to suffer.

What is ironic is that these chronic pain patients are protected under the federal wing with the Americans with Disability Act. In the healthcare industry has targeted this one specific group of disabled people for special, degrading, suspicion based mandates not generally required of other patients even when there exists an elevated chance of drug interaction of other complication. The American Medical Association provided an article in one of their peer review magazine the AMA Wire or Medscape cautioning these institutions about the reality of these conflicting properties.

In some cases the doctors enlisted to enforce this policy have resorted to nefarious methods constructed to force patient compliance. In my own case fo example, I had been on the same medication over a decade due to two separate and very painful neurological conditions. Throughout the entire duration of my opiate therapy the dosage of Oxycodone was only slightly increased twice. This was during the initial period where my physician and I were trying to find the optimal dosage allowing functionality with sufficient relief. I just wanted to be able to physically attend weekly sabbath, the Holy Days and participate in family birthdays. My expectations were really minimal.

Myself being 100% disabled on the average day I spending about 50 to 70% of my waking hours curled up in bed suffering. This is when medicated. Left untreated I spend from 80 to 90% of my life bedridden. Because of these health related limitations I am unable to attend the pain clinic. Requiring me to participate is tantamount to mandating a double leg amputee run the Boston Marathon. I couldn’t comply even if I wanted to. I am not physically capable of complying.

Because I really didn’t appreciate with being treated like a criminal when I had done nothing whatsoever to motivate that kind of treatment, I flat out refused to enter into any contract that amended my original contract for services negotiated and paid for on my behalf as part of my retirement package. I explained the healthcare provider lacked the legal authority to force me into contract when there exists no meeting of the minds in agreement. Such meeting of the minds is an essential ingredient in developing any binding contract.

When it became evident I wasn’t playing, when it started to become obvious I knew my way around the legal system and the good doctor had no legal mechanism to force me to sign such amendment intimidation replaced all previous pleasantries. A hostel environment rapidly emerged making medical appointment for non-related medical issues extremely difficult to address. Phone calls to my home by support staff who were demanding blood and urine specimens became more frequent and verbally punishing. Threats of discontinuing my pain therapy where stepped up a few notches in an attempt to intimidate the samples out of me.

Finally after several months the doctor called my home himself. During our conversation I repeatedly informed him that I had absolutely no intention of surrendering my rights for the benefit of their policy. I reiterated my principled decision and legal right to stand on Forth Amendment constitutional grounds. I asked what course of action he as my physician intended to take as a result of my refusal. The doctor told me that he would begin a tapering process designed to end the long apprciated therapy. I might point out that no alternative treatments were offered. Because I am a devoted Christian I don’t smoke, drink or use drugs. Trying to defuse the situation I agreed to provide one specimen as a matter of good faith. Before it was over I ended up providing two sample, both confirming my clean lifestyle. Everything seemed fine for a while.

A month or two later the harassment scenario began to play out exactly as it did before. When I again refused to supply further specimens instead of tapering me off the medication as he promised (standard medical practice) he cunningly waited until my prescription was scheduled for a refill. He knowing the level of pain I would be forced to endure when neglectfully left untreated. He decided to step out of the box and use my extreme pain to his advantage. Being acutely aware that I would suffer unbearable pain topped with chemical withdrawals he abruptly stopped addictive pharmaceuticals invoking exactly those consequences.

This doctor refused to refill my prescription until I submitted a urine specimen. With malice aforethought he held pain relief for hostage inspiring unbearable pain and suffering. He used information contained within confidential medical records made available to him as my primary physician to forge an effective weapon of force or control. Try to remember I consistently told the doctor that I would not participate expecting him to taper me off the meds! He refused to take no for an answer, because he had bigger and better plans for me!

In the same fashion a rapist extorts from their victim sexual gratification, this physician using intimidation, threats and coercion took from me what had been constitutionally guarded. Using well anticipated but unavoidable pain and chemical withdrawals as the switchblade to my throat this maniac stole my right to privacy. The act of utilizing coercion, intimidation or inducing agony on another human being for the purpose of extorting that which is desired is according to my initial assessment a violation of Section 206PC of the California Penal Code, the restriction on torture. The elements of the crime seem to fit perfectly. In addition California law requires a doctor who refuses to treat or prescribe pain medication to expeditiously refer the patient in question to another physician who will. That legal obligation to date categorically ignored. It’s been close to a year now!

Those who know me consider me tough as a bull and suborn as an ass. I suppose both are true to an extent. Being stubborn but out of principle I decided I would just tough it out, which turned out to be sort of laughable considering the level of pain we’re talking about here. One neurological condition leaves my body feeling exactly like a stubbed toe from shoulders to my toes. The other causes the worst headaches known to man. No kidding! Sadly without being medicated I lasted about four days or as long as it took for all the medication to be fully out of my system. I was climbing the walls. Still grasping firmly, or better put hanging on for dear life to my conviction, I went outside my healthcare provider for some relief.

The doctor I visited at the recommendation of a friend specialized in natural remedies, something that as a health conscious vegetarian I truly appreciated. I was sort of tired of conventional medicine anyway but coverage is a perk paid in full from my years of being under paid and over worked supervising in state service! My confidence in the medical had diminished in recent times as a result of a number of really bad experiences that affected family members adversely. Noting that sleep is always the first casualty of withdrawals and I hadn’t slept a wink since the they had set in two days after stoppage the doctor prescribed cannabis edibles at bedtime to aid with sleep. I was given vitamin supplements and extracts that were supposed work in unison to reduce my pain. Helped some with sleep but did nothing for my pain. It didn’t even touch it!

It didn’t take long to figure out I wasn’t quite as tough as I imagined. As much as I wanted to be otherwise, I just could not endure another hour of this relentless pain. I folded supplying under duress the demanded urine specimen. Shortly after my submission my prescription was briefly reinstated. Within days the cannabis in my system provided the doctor the type of excuse he had been looking for. For what he considered my insubordination his intention all along was to stop therapy altogether. This provided the excuse he needed to justify his actions. What this means if implemented nation wide is millions of medical and recreational marijuana smokers in Americans at risk of purposeful neglect should they require a painkiller with week old cannabis in their system.

The instant the doctor received my lab report back, without even confirming the findings which is standard operating procedure, he notified me in writing stating on the official lab report that Cannabis was discovered in your system “as expected” leaving the inference of ongoing recreational use. He then immediately scheduled tapering regimen.

Fact is I had not used cannabis prior to being forced to seek help outside Kaiser. Well, not since becoming a Christian long ago anyway. I now understand why no other treatment was ever offered. My seeking relief on the streets or in alternative medicine was always an intricate part of this dastardly plan to kick me off pain therapy. Amazingly we in the citizenry can go to jail for being cruel to animals but corporations very often hurt people with bad policy decisions and medical mistakes and are not held at all accountable.

Like so many others who suffer chronic neurological pain I am forced to just grin and bear it for now. If we chronic pain patients cannot or will not agree to bear the guilt and responsibility of a transgression that never really happened, if we wont agree to telepathically put a time limit on pain therapy and surrender our rights to privacy we will not be receiving treatment for our pain any time soon.

The corporate healthcare industry stands to save bundles of cash through their cruel and inhumane denial of adequate pain treatment, well maybe not bundles, I intend to take a whole bunch of their profit to add to my coffers! I am coming at these pukes with everything I got. Because there are criminal violations involved it’s my understanding that I am no longer bound by California’s mandatory arbitration law. That means the usual $250,000 cap on awards does not apply. I’m taking them way out of their comfort zone for a monetary spanking of a lifetime. If and when I prevail, and I suspect I will, unlike the many before me, I will never sign a nondisclosure agreement for any amount of money. I want the world to know what they’ve done, the money means nothing to me.

In closing I want to mention a bit of important data. Most patients are never informed that the third leading cause of premature death in the USA is medical mistakes. It’s true, more people die annually at the hands of doctors than die from car wrecks, diabetes and cancer combined. What turns my stomach is the sheer arrogance of these physicians who in spite of their medical limitations develop a god complex! In more situations than not doctors seem to believe that whatever they spew out of their mouth is gospel. Even though they’ve only spent a whole five minutes preparing for exams and and another ten minutes diagnosing and treating their patients. Sadly the days of the caring Marcus Welby MD type physician are long gone! The AMA refers to this doctor disassociation syndrome as “physician burnout” acknowledging the growing trend within the healthcare industry. As they reluctantly admit, doctors of today lack the essential human emotion of empathy. Sounds like sociopaths to me!

I would sure appreciate hearing like from anyone else who has been through similar abuse at Kaiser. making a formal complaint with Member Services is useless. They lie like dogs to protect their doctors incompetence. If you try be sure to take a witness or a recorder. Remember recording two way conversations requires informed consent or it’s illegal wiretap. That is unless they inform you that they intend to record you. The law considers any acknowledged consent as being mutual between participating parties. Hint: they nearly always record the interview! For a witness I used an off duty State of California Regional Heath and Safety Coordinator. She witnessed their intentional distortion and misrepresentation of my complaints. She also read the associated determination letter where she noted a purposeful and coordinated character assassination. My point, don’t assume these peole have your best interests at heart, they don’t. They will cut you up and eat you if they thought it would benefit them a thin dime.

Folks if we stick together and coordinate unified strategy we help one another and one by one bankrupt this cruel and inhumane corporation! We can stop these pieces of human waste from hurting or victimizing any more suffering people.
