And? You evidently missed the point of my reply to the verse AS PRESENTED IN THE STORY. The author chose to cherry pick one part of the scripture. I picked apart the cherry picked snippet. Now, had the author chosen to include Romans 1:27, it would have given a more complete picture of the point of the article. Instead, she chose to only use a partial verse. You get it, now? If you’re going to use partial verses, one must be prepared to be called on it.
Now, that leads us to the source of the verse:
I’m looking at some other translations of this passage, and from what I can gather, it’s pulled from the New International Version. What I’ve also found is many (the NIV being the only version using “Shameful Lusts”, in the verse) different interpretations, that potentially change the tone of the verse. No wonder Christians can’t seem to get along. You can’t even agree on which book is the proper “Word of God”.
