New And Invasive EMV Cards Implementation Has Begun! DNA Active RFID Sets The Stage For Mandatory Implants

31 AUG 15

And here we go. There’s a RUSH to get these implemented by the end of 2015, just a few months away. What’s the rush? Well, the economy is racing down the tubes and the antichrist agenda is biting at the bit. Very soon every single human will be faced with a life or death decision. To have a foreign, highly unnatural object implanted into their bodies in order to buy and sell. Will you have the courage to refuse it? Each of our eternal destinies will be affected by this decision. For more on this click here after the article and video below.

WalMart and Target moving to EMV cards and systems

The October 2015 EMV deadline is approaching and WalMart and Target are moving forward with their EMV transition plans.

Eight years ago, WalMart began upgrading its payment machines in the U.S. to work with EMV cards, the WalMart blog reported. Now, the major retailer has announced its WalMart Mastercard will be chipped and EMV compliant. Walmart didn’t state how many cards will carry the chip but over time, all of its stores will take the new card.

Currently, more than 4,600 Walmart and Sam’s Club locations have EMV payment terminals and the rest will be activated by the end of the year. WalMart processed more than 50,000 EMV transactions each day as of August, according to the Members Group.

Target announced earlier in 2014 it would apply MasterCard’s EMV technology to its RED card credit and debit cards and install a chip-enabled payment system at its stores. Existing cards will be reissued in 2015 with the new technology, and beginning the same year, all new cards will have Master Card’s chip technology.

How WalMart and Target will affect the market
Many professionals and consumers are wondering if more retailers will move to EMV systems now that major retailers like WalMart and Target are doing so. According to a survey by Digital Transactions News, the answer appears to be yes. Sixty-five percent of retailers said WalMart’s move will spur EMV growth in the U.S. and 23 percent said it wouldn’t.

Another consequence of WalMart and Target’s move to EMV is it may raise awareness in consumers regarding the higher level of security with chip-card systems.

Credit unions and EMV
As the news that retailers are optimistic about and interested in moving to chipped cards spreads, credit unions face the unfortunate prospect of being behind. According to Credit Union Times, more than half of credit unions won’t be ready to implement EMV cards and systems by October 2015. Without the compliant equipment, credit unions will take on a greater liability for fraud losses, which could be a devastating financial burden.
