Trump is right...let the Russians kick ISIS back into the sand

I recently read an article here which said Trump was stupid for saying we should let the Russians deal with ISIS.  The guy who said that is stupid.  I won’t like him here to spare him the factual slap-down.  So here goes a little background and explanation as to why Trump, for the most part, isn’t wrong in my opinion and the opinion of many others.

Until the Obama administration, the Assads were actually our allies of sorts.  Sort of like Saddam was during the Iran-Iraq war.  Ever notice how we turn on tyrants at the drop of a hat.  One day they’re great…the next day they’re the spawn of Satan?  Look at Osama.  He was our CIA boy when he was fighting the Russians in Afghanistan, but then one day…uh-ohhh…

But you see that’s what happens when you support tyranny for personal gain.  The day you stop supporting them, they turn on you like a rabid dog.  So we’ve developed a process by which we “remove” the dog once we’re done with him.  Assad hasn’t gone quietly.  And quite honestly, had I known ISIS would arise from the demise of Saddam, well I’d have given him a cigar and pat on the back.  The same can now be said for Assad.  I’d rather him any day than the nutcases in ISIS.  Remove Assad, and the ISIS a-holes will own Syrian…then guess where they go?  Israel…that is correct.  When that happens it’s seriously close to WWIII and we’ll be forced into the middle of it…and despite Iran and the Saudis hating ISIS…let them choose between supporting Israel or ISIS…and you’ll have uprisings in both…and it’s on like a chicken bone.  Long story short, no Arab likes Israel.  The enemy of my enemy is my friend….blah, blah and blah.

We’ve done enough damage in the Middle East.  The Russians will do what we don’t.  They’ll go in and bomb the everloving crap out of them until they only wished they were in the stoneage.  They don’t care about body counts or who likes it or not.  So yes…hell yes…Trump is right.  We’ve tried for over 10 years to fix what Bush jacked up over there.  ISIS is our fault.  We should have left Saddam alone.  He wasn’t involved in 911…had nothing to do with it.  In fact, he was not supporting Osama’s boys at all.  That would have been Iran and the Saudis.  We screwed up.  Now millions are paying the price for it and let’s be honest…we’re not cruel enough to kick ISIS where it will hurt.  They know this and they prey upon it…they hope for it…they thrive on our “weakness” of moral concience.  We don’t like killing innocents.  They do it for fun.  These guys are psychos from the get-go.  They are pure, unfettered evil.  They throw people off buildings and chop heads off.  They video it…broadcast it and brag about it.  You can’t reason with people like that.  You can’t negotiate with them and you sure as hell can’t go to war half-*ssed with them.

The Russians have a reason to smear the sand with them.  They like Assad.  Assad, like it or not, is like Saddam.  He’s a tyrant…but he’s stable.  If empowered, he will keep the crazies in check.  You MUST BE a tyrant to rule these people.  Does that sound racist?  Maybe it is…but that also doesn’t mean it’s not the truth.  Do you see any successful democracies there?  No you do not.  Why?  Because they are theocrats…rule by religion and that means they can never respect outsiders or independent thinkers.  They are brought up to believe infidels [non-believers] should simply die…should be killed.  These guys are literally worse than Nazis.  The Germans at least knew when to quite and surrender.  These cats will strap bombs to their children in order to kill us.  The Russians have the audacity and viciousness to rid the world of them.

Letting them do that, might give them a strong hold on the Middle East.  So what?  Would that really be any worse than what we’ve got now?  I’d rather pay Putin for oil than these  ISIS nutcases.  Wouldn’t you?  If Putin wants it…let him have it.  Oil and camel fleas are not worth starting WWIII over.  At least Putin will deal.  He’s reasonable…he’s Christian…he’ll want to profit from us…but is that worse than the Arabs?  They sell us oil and then scream about killing us all.  Putin doesn’t want to kill us.  Rule us maybe…but not kill us necessarily.

Am I saying I’m a Putin lover?  No.  But you know what…Stalin was better than Hitler at one time, wasn’t he?  Time to choose who you want a fight with…ISIS or Russia?  Me…I’m taking a note from our grandfathers and moving into Putin’s corner.  And if they kick his butt…we can always go in and save him, right?

Again, Trump is right.  Like it or not.  American needs to learn when we screw something up, it can’t always be hidden or fixed.  Some mistakes are permanent.  Killing Saddam was that mistake.  If we end up looking like incompetent fools over it…well, go thank everybody who put Bush in office to start with…and let him invade a country for no reason and without proper necessity.
