Chinese trooos deployed to Syria
Based on the claims of Arab media outlet, Russian military in Syria will be reinforced by Chinese troops and military aircraft.
It seems that such claims were made on the basis of a Chinese naval vessel, which passed through the Suez Canal and is going to Syria.
Chinese troops and military aircraft are expected to arrive at the port city of Tartus within six weeks.
Russia has already sent a number of aircraft and tanks to an airbase outside of Latakia.
It seems that a target of Russian aircraft is Deir Ezzor and Raqqa, which is believed to be the capital of ISIS in Syria. Based on claims of US officials, additional 2,000 Russian troops will be deployed to the airbase.
New pieces of information about China’s involvement in Syria still have to be confirmed.
This cooperation between Russia and China in Syria will help these countries to strengthen their relationship. Also, these two countries joined their forces to put a veto on the United Nations Security Council resolutions directed against the al-Assad government.
