Even though I was born again many years ago, I did not wake to the realities of the world we live in today until beginning in 2008. And yes, I should have known, especially when the Bible has made it unquestionably clear. Take Matthew 4:1-10; what is most important here, is not what was said, but rather, what was not said.
When Satan made his last and final offer of the cities of the world as they gazed upon them knowing how much love he had for them if he would worship him, Jesus replied; “thou shalt worship only the Lord thy God.” One must obviously conclude from the response that THEY WERE HIS TO GIVE. Jesus did not correct or rebuke his claim of ownership, he stated thou shalt worship only the Lord thy God.
The omission of any rebuking of ownership is consistent with the entirety of Jesus’s ministry which articulately explained in countless ways; “we live in a world of Darkness” he is the only way out. These thing come to pass and so the Kingdom of Heaven, as troubling as these times are, the face of evil is all around us. We must stay strong and work to do the will of God in these last days as many will fall away.

“It is clear also that the (EU Battlegroup) concept was born out of the Anglo-French summit at St Malo in December 1998 which called for credible autonomous EU military forces this evolved into the short-lived European Rapid Reaction Force and even at that early stage this was always seen as a compliment to and support for NATO.
Eventually in 2004 the Battlegroups concept was born but its viability has always been in doubt only two years ago (Nov 2013) in a paper the European Union Institute for Strategic Studies said this:

However, they have never been deployed since, raising serious doubts about the viability of the overall initiative and its future usefulness.
