Thanks for the great links fella. I started reading the Bible about a month or so ago and I’m just getting to the 2nd book of Samuel. So far I’ve read a few things that didn’t make much sense to me, like why Canaan would be cursed just for seeing Noah naked and also why the people of the city immediately came to Lot’s house and wanted to know the messengers of God ‘carnally’ as it describes. I was like WTF why would they just come up to the house and demand to have sex with all of these dudes? The way you put it makes perfect sense and ties it all together for me. I knew I was missing something there.
