The UK government is launching a massive attack on our right to campaign in solidarity with the Palestinian struggle for freedom, justice and equality.
As part of this, the government is introducing new rules that would prohibit local councils from supporting BDS.

Councils in the UK have voted to support BDS and to exclude companies that aid and abet Israel’s crimes from public contracts. Now the government wants to ban councils from these kinds of steps.
This is a massive attack on Palestine solidarity could have big implications for all sorts of progressive campaigning in the UK. These proposals represent a huge attack on local democracy.
A key part of these proposals is under consultation until 19 February, so now is the time to make your voice heard.
