Charlie here. Has anyone tested the wines to see if there is human DNA in it? If you ask me it might make sense being what wine is versus of what they know about the Bible.
Their paganism certainly would drive them to do it if you ask me, that is, if they are into this kind of stuff. But the wines should be tested for human blood and if it contains it would require a nationwide recall not to mention the shock and horror it would bring and certainly kill the fine wine industry.

In Mass they refer to the consuming of “the body and blood of Christ” or some such drivel then they give you a wafer so thin you can see through it, but the priest keeps the wine for himself so you don’t get any. Maybe the priest keeps the wine to give to little boys, later when everyone else has gone home…………………………

I sincerely doubt the veracity of this story. Betcha any money that if you take a sample of one of Rothschild’s wines and use a hemoglobin detection reagent on it, the result will be negative. Besides, I don’t know anybody who drinks that stuff. Expensive wines are an expression of snobbery, a typical personality characteristic of the middle class.
I’ve never paid more than 2 Euros a litre for wine, and when I do drink it’s boxed white wine @ 1.19 Euros a litre from Edeka. In a blind taste test, even world-renowned experts can’t tell the difference between some 200 Euro/0.7l wine and boxed wine. Because the boxed wine has higher turnover, you actually get a better deal, and if you want it to taste “vintage” then just use Tim Ferris’s method and put it in a blender. Oh, and don’t drink it too cold. Tastes better at room temperature. WHO AM I KIDDING, nobody drinks wine for the taste. People drink it to get wasted! Besides, why pay more than you have to on something that’s 90% water, and is gone sooner than you can say “in vino veritas.”

Wine cannot be mixed with blood. The wine is acidic and coagulates the blood. What’s more, the wine would get a taste of iron that could be noticed easily. The myth is busted.
