Do Monkeys Still Jump Through the Trees at 1000 mph?

There have been many debates about where we came from and how we got here. Science has presented their theories which they are still in the process of refining.  We were taught some of those theories in school and they are still reinforced on tv in movies, books, videos, and pretty much everywhere else.  But have they been proven?  Science tells us no, they don’t prove theories, no one can because as more information is known the theories are either modified or replaced.   So I decided to test the age old theory regarding whether we live on a stationary earth or a spinning globe. 

I will set up 3 targets.  Each will be 1200 feet away from me.   One will be east of me, one west, and one north.  I will shoot at the targets with my .22 rifle using bullets which the manufacturer tells me travel at 1200 fps.  The bullets should strike the targets one second after I fire at them.  I fire at all three targets.  Each target is hit one second after I fire which is how long it takes the bullet to reach the target.  I set up several targets in all directions and shoot hundreds of rounds and get the same results.  This is how it would work on a stationary earth.   Now I will try the same experiment on a spinning earth.

Science tells us that our spinning globe moves at 1000 mph or 1500 fps from west to east. So if I shoot east, my bullet will travel 1200 feet in one second, but the target which is on the earth will move 1500 feet in that one second.   Therefore, I could never hit my target because the earth moves faster than the bullet in that direction.  If I fire west, then the bullet and the target are approaching each other.  If they both travel at the same speed, then they would meet in the middle.  The bullet is travelling a little slower, so the bullet will take less than half a second to hit the target.  If I fire at the north target, the bullet will take one second to arrive, but by then the target will have moved eastward by 1500 feet so I will miss the target.  This is what would happen on a spinning globe.

From this experiment, it is clear that it does not produce the same results on a stationary earth and on a spinning earth.  On a spinning earth the earth’s rotation must be taken into account for each direction of motion.  If we apply what we have observed from our experiment we should be able to determine which earth we live on.  On a stationary earth, monkeys can jump from tree to tree as they wish.  On a spinning earth they could not jump directly at the north/south trees or they would miss them and they can’t jump east unless they can jump at 1000 mph or faster. To jump west they would have to reduce their speed.   On a stationary earth airplanes could land on any runway.   On a spinning earth they could not land on a north/south runway and would have to greatly reduce their speed to land on west runways or run the risk or going off the end of the runway and would have to greatly accelerate to land on east runways to keep up with the runway.  On a stationary earth sports like baseball, soccer, golf, and tennis are not affected, but on a spinning globe they would be impossible due to the many adjustments needed for each direction of play.  On a stationary earth, we can move in any direction we choose with the same results, on a spinning globe, the results in each direction are different so we would have to calculate every move. 

This is the difference between living on a stationary earth and a spinning globe.  Our ancestors lived on a stationary earth until about 500 years ago when Copernicus came along and changed all that.   I wonder how they did it…..You can read more HERE.
