probably should read Hebrews 11 and pay particular attention to verse 13. As wonderful a believer as Enoch was, he died like all humans born with sinful flesh. He did not receive the promise, not available until the Christ.

      • Jostler

So I am supposed to ignore the obvious when I read Hebrews 11:5?

        Hebrews 11:5

By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

      • Mayhem

Hebrews 11:13 has nothing to do with Enoch and everything to do with the seed of Abraham and Sara.

        Otherwise known as “us”.

    • Pink Slime

      NO, you are wrong! Idiot.

If Enoch went to heaven how come Yahusha said NO MAN has ascended to heaven?

Second, he says Enoch had 365 years. That was it! So he DIED. Not 365 years + 1 eternity.

Third, if he was still alive (as someone pointed out) he would still be walkING with Yahuah not walkED with Him.

Fourth, transliterated means transported. God removed and hid the DEAD body for whatever reason.

      • Jostler

I’ve seen you hammer this idea quite often. Can you explain to me what is being described here?:

        Revelation 7

13 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?”
14 And I said to him, “Sir,[fn] you know.”
So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. 16 They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; 17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters.[fn] And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

I can understand why no man had been to heaven prior to Jesus’ resurrection. Extending that to somehow mean no man will EVER present in heaven is simply not Biblicallly supportable. I can find plenty more like that passage…

Where is G*d to rule? What does the Bible say where He is to rule?

          • Jostler

I assume you didn’t address the verses posted because you can’t. As far as your diversionary question goes, why don’t you show me “What does the Bible say….”?

            • Pink Slime

Where is G*d to rule? What does the Bible say where He is to rule?

Why do I have to tell you? Let G*d tell you!

            • Jostler

Arrighty then! I’m really at a loss as to exactly what you’re asking, but I’ll bite :)

God rules absolutely everything He created and everywhere He is.
              _______________

              Ephesians 4

              8 Therefore He says:

              “When He ascended on high,
              He led captivity captive,
              And gave gifts to men.”[fn]

9 (Now this, “He ascended”—what does it mean but that He also first[fn] descended into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)
              ____________

Your “to rule” phrase seemed a bit confusing since it implies something to be obtained in the future and this passage reflects a CURRENT “ruling” of the whole kit and kaboodle, but perhaps now you’ll be willling to actually engage something concrete?

              Your point was?

            • Pink Slime

              “IS” to rule.

Revelation contains much symbolism thus to understand the revealing of Jesus Christ to John many scriptures must be used to uncover what is being said.

Paul states in Hebrews 11 none will receive the promise of eternal life ahead of all of the Saints thus Enoch died along with all those mentioned in the Old Testament and just like Paul said — all died.

Revelation 20: 1- 6 explains two of the 3 resurrections, the first resurrection occurs at the return of Christ and the 2nd after the 1000 years. All those called and chosen of God during the 6000 years before the return of Christ will be resurrected to immortal spirit life-eternal together at the first resurrection.

In Revelation 7 Christ is speaking of the remnant of the House of Israel, held in captivity by the Beast power that endured the Great Tribulation i.e. the great multitude, and are converted during that captivity.

The white robes are showing conversion, being washed in the blood of Christ and are thus “White” – righteous – in God’s eyes. AND because of that conversion they shall serve Christ in the Temple or the House of GOD day and night — there is no day or night in the 3rd heaven so this is on earth. A HOUSE of GOD is the family of God, not a building.

It states Christ shall dwell among them, if they were in heaven they would dwell with Christ, Christ is returning to earth to dwell among men –

They shall not be hungry because Christ will spiritually feed them and will lead them to “living fountains of waters” lead them to life eternal.

The Great Multitude are the remnant of physical Israel that survives the 7 Seals including the Great Tribulation the returns to the Promised Land by the 2nd exodus to live for 1000 years on that land they shall inherit for ever.

The Meek shall inherit the earth not heaven, the work of God is on earth not in heaven, Christ makes it clear He came from the 3rd heaven and He only shall return to the 3rd heaven.

I know this will not be clear, this subject requires many scriptures to fully explain.

But remember the Reward of the Saints: they will be kings and lords ruling on earth under Christ, ruling the physical House of Israel. No one will go to the 3rd heaven, God’s work is unfinished here on earth.

Truthseeker you brought so much to bear here I’m struggling to figure out a way to systematically address it. Let me try biting it into bite size chunks and addressing a portion at a time. This may get too unwieldy given the format we have to work in…dunno…we can only try.
            ____________
            ____________

First I have a question. I reread Hebrews 11 and I am finding difficulty confirming the assertions you made in this quote:
            _____________

“Paul states in Hebrews 11 none will receive the promise of eternal life ahead of all of the Saints thus Enoch died along with all those mentioned in the Old Testament and just like Paul said — all died.”
            _____________

Can you refer directly to the portions of Hebrews 11 that support the assertions so I can see exactly what you’re referring to in support of them?
            _____________
            _____________

I appreciate someone who can engage potential disagreement without losing all sight of the spiritual fruit we’re supposed to be manifesting, so tyvm for that :)

I just composed a rapture related article (currently being moderated for approval) which will explain my philosophy of Scriptural interpretation (hermaneutics for the theologians  ) which may also help you understand my approach to Scripture even if you don’t fully subscribe to it yourself.

I dunno how long moderation takes here, or even if the article will be approved but I am not aware of any reason it would not be. We’ll see soon enough I suppose :) However or wherever I look forward to more Word centered discussions.

            1 Corinthians 13:9

For we know in part and we prophesy in part.

              Jostler

              Hebrews 11: 13, 39, 40

13 These — all died—in faith, (all of the above)— not having received the promises, — but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

39 And these “ALL’, having obtained a good report through faith, received — “not” — the promise:

40 God having provided some better thing for us, that — they — without us — should not be made perfect.

What are we all promised? Eternal life.

            • Jostler

Excellent. You explained that well enough for a feeble mind to grasp :)

Now I can see exactly where our disagreement lies, and this may be one we have to agree to disagree on. My assumption was that the “all” you highlighted referred to Abraham and his seed, heirs of the promises and not all the way back through the full list.

I’m a bit reluctant to let go of that so far, due to the (to me) clear indication that Enoch did not taste natural death given in verse 5. I also give some weight to the apparent contrast between Abel and Enoch, one who died and one who did not, but were both proclaimed righteous by their faith.

Another reason I feel comfortable with that distinction is due to the fact that Abraham represents a sort of historical dividing line in the history of God’s dealing with man.

Enoch, Noah and Job were gentiles. They knew God but were not part of a “covenant” people. Abraham marks time when God made a “national” covenant with a man and his seed after him and all its associated promises.

So, summing up, I still believe Enoch passed from this earth without tasting death based on both the wording in Genesis and the emphatic wording in Heb 11:5

Abraham and his descendants, so far, have all died before God’s promises were fully received, evidently because God wanted us to have a role in their fulfillment (Heb 11:40)

I’ll try to pull out another bite sized chunk/question here soon.

            • Truthseeker

              jostler

Then there is even a bigger problem!!

if Enoch went to heaven, which is not the reward of the saved, and to which no man has gone or will go but He that came down from heaven Jesus Christ,

Then Christ is not the first to inherit eternal life, He then could not be first in all things.

What you are saying is someone preceded Christ into salvation..

Not possible! Christ is the FIRST BORN of Many brethren.

Also, being born again is from those dead and also from those alive at the return of Christ. That changes come in a blink of an eye. both are called being born again.

To ascend to the third heaven Enoch must be changed into immortal spirit — that my friend is only accomplished for the first time by Jesus Christ. there are none given eternal life before Jesus Christ.

              May I add something.

We are commanded to prove all things — the only way I can prove any thing is by math or logic which is a form of math.

When Christ tangled with the pharisees He confounded them by logic using the Word of God.

If something is being expounded that is illogical I reject it.

GOD IS TRUTH and TRUTH IS LOGICAL.

            • Jostler

I am not aware of any place we are told exactly where Enoch went so I am not comfortable assuming any destination. Wherever he was taken I suspect he must be returned to this plane because of this:
              ______

              Heb 9:27

And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,
              ______

That verse is the reason I’ve always leaned toward believing the two witnesses are Enoch and Elijah. Those are the only two historical figures the Bible witnesses left this earth without passing through death.
              ______

We’re not given a lot of detail about the disappearance of either of these figures. Enoch’s case is particularly cryptic:

              Gen 5:24

And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.

And with Elijah we at least know he was taken to “heaven” (Hebrew – shamayim), but which one? We know there are AT LEAST 3 heavens and Elijah’s account doesn’t give us enough qualifiers to determine exactly which Elijah was taken to

              2 Kings 2

Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
              ____________________

Reading between the lines I can see we understand quite a lot very differently, including exactly what “born again” means.

              I Peter 1

22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit[fn] in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, 23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,[fn] 24 because…

That “having been born again…” in verse 23 speaks in past tense, a done deal, but you’re referring to it as something future (I think) so that’s yet another area of some complexity we’d have to explore if we hope to reconcile our understandings.

Good grief, this gets so tangled so fast. We may need to resort to articles long enough to draw in a wider range of scriptures. We’re not having much luck achieving any depth with these short, out of context bits and bites.

Not sure how best to proceed here…

            • Truthseeker

              Jostler

I read that God can not change, that what He does He will do again, the pattern of what and how He performs His Plan does not change, thus I have come to believe the two witnesses will be two men from the tribe of Levi that are brothers exactly like the first two witnesses Moses and his brother Aaron.

I wont’ look it up right now but you can find that Elijah, after he was taken to another location, sent a letter to someone – don’t’ remember who. God just let him live out his life in safety in another location on earth..

Born again is a real problem for most, All want salvation right now and for sure.

If you use Strong’s you will find different words and different meanings connect with that term.

When an elder of God lays hands upon a repentant and baptized person they are begotten (impregnated) by the Holy Spirit of the Father.

By the Father’s ONE spirit in them a person becomes a spiritual fetus waiting to be born one more time but this time as an immortal spirit with the same body as Jesus Christ; Phil 3: 21.

No longer born of corruptible flesh but immoral spirit.
the Saints of God are SONS of the FATHER.

          • Jostler

I can see this just runs too deep and runs across too many interlocking topics. But its also entirely possible we’re not as far apart as it currently appears. I’d use some different scriptural parables to explain “born again” but I see some commonality as well.

As I understand it we are spirit beings, that possess a soul which is housed in a body. Those three aspects of our total being are actually an “image” of the triune nature of the Godhead….Father, Son and Spirit.

Actually, I’m going to stop there and just do an article because its useless to make assertions without backing them up from the Word and I really can’t do that here. Without the Word its just me making noise and nobody benefits from that.

That “spirit, soul and body” key to interpreting Scripture is critical because it does touch on so many other important topics. It deserves a careful and full treatment.

It answers a LOT of things we’ve bickered about among ourselves for generations.

      • Jostler

I also notice you don’t make any effort to define which heaven. Be careful how you sling that “idiot” term around …it might come back and bite you.

Who was that who said “Let your words be sweet, you might have to eat them.” Wise man :)

      Double thumbs-up on this presentation!

It is hoped that your next videos will speak of the soon to come role of Enoch in the world. Enoch -as well as Elias, is presently here in the person of one of the Two Witnesses of the Book of Revelation -confirmation verbally given by Our Lady of La Salette on September 19, 1846.

The roles of the Two Witnesses will be to bring truths to the world. Elias will bring truths to the Jews, and Enoch will bring truths to the gentiles. In fact, their respective ministry might have already began: The Jew’s perfidy is unmasked, and the gentiles are exposed the errors of modernism.

Enoch might be the root cause for this sudden exposure to “flat-earth beliefs”, “big-bang debunking”, “theory of evolution negations”, etc. Enoch might be at the heart of the unmasking of conspiracies such as JFK; the Moon Landing and space program’s hoaxes; the making-up of terrorist groups in order to manufacture wars and justify martial laws and genocides.

Creepy Little Book, you might have touched a hot subject. May be you are a deputy to the Prophet Enoch….
      May God bless you.

      • Creepy Little Book

Thanks very much. I do plan on doing another Enoch video in the future as the first book of Enoch contains so much information it really need an entire video dedicated to the topic. I’m also looking forward to making a video about Melchizedek as he’s another very mysterious figure in scripture.

        • Daughter of the Church

There are indeed a lot of information. BTW, I did not know of the existence of three books of Enoch.

One thing intriguing among the many is the calendar year during the antediluvian time which was shorter than now. Since the number of days was obviously measured, an earthly cataclysm such as the deluge might be further proven. Also the richness of the verb, and the intelligent logic used in the writing of this ancient book proves that man has not evolved. Finally the findings of the remains of giants -which are being blotted-out, proves a conspiracy by the evolutionists against a ”creator” whom the man Enoch met.

Looking forward to your video about Melchizedek, who is named during the canon of the Roman Catholic’s Tridentine Mass, that, AFTER the Consecration, precisely during the offering of the victim: Abel “Thy just servant”, Abraham “our patriarch” and Melchizedek “Thy chief priest”.

        • Daughter of the Church

Dear friend “C.L.B.”, you disclaim being a religious person, so I address you as being a candid scholar. If I may bring an idea to your future video on Melchizedek.

Abel, Abraham and Melchizedek are a part of a trilogy in a canonical prayer of the bloodless sacrifice of the (authentic) Catholic Mass.
Abel was the victim of the first murder of mankind from the hand of the unrepentant Cain.
Abraham was an advocate for the sparing of Sodom, but he failed because the sinful city did not have the sufficient number of good souls.
Melchizedek was the precursor to the bloodless sacrifice (at Mass) by giving bread and wine to Abraham -who later saw the blood sacrifice of his own son Isaac being adverted (by the angel of God)
A meaning of this said trilogy may come from being against Cain himself, since Cain was the first murderer, and also for a little known fact that Cain has disciples! Yes Cain has disciples who were named the Cainites by the second century AC. The Cainites not only adore Cain, but also desire to revert the fate of Sodom, and the blotting-out of Jesus Christ. The disciples of Cain are therefore murderers, sodomites and anti-christian. This is where comes Melchizedek: He was the priest who brought the instrument of an antipodean sacrifice offered to Cain

          • Creepy Little Book

I was raised catholic myself, obviously after V2 but I have been following some info on the Defeatmodernism YouTube channel. They are very traditionalist Catholics over there. Setavacantist I believe.

            • Jostler

Well done video. Good pacing, information rich without all the hemming and hawing so common to YouTube :)

I know you’re not coming from a strictly Christian perspective but the whole subject of Enoch, the flood, giants and pre-flood history in general have recently been brought to the attention of researchers in the Christian community so you’ll find a thirst for more info burgeoning from that quarter for sure.

All of it ties in to many Biblical themes in ways we haven’t been used to viewing them in this generation. Very relevant for the times.

Keep up the good work :)
