Pippa King joins the team on The Kev Baker Show to discuss the Orwellian nightmare that is enough to make your hair curl!

We open up by getting to know about Pippa and how an incident with her own children led her onto a path that would see her campaign parliament to bring about a change as to how schools can obtain biometric information from our children.

Data is everything these days, and they are getting the information from our children at a younger and younger age. Data is literally the new currency in this digital age, and we discuss just how they are indoctrinating our young into this new way of living, where absolutely nothing is private.

Johnny Whistles & I are in Glasgow, and this is the city that was “lucky” enough to be awarded £24million after “winning” the race to become the UK’s fully functioning Smart City, or as all the livery says…. SimpliCity!

There is nothing intelligent about living in smart cities, and we better all take heed, as it may just be Glasgow and a few other trial runs around the globe so far, but rest assured, this is going to be everywhere! Its all part of this “sustainability” crap that is been spun to us so we roll over and accept the tyranical Agenda 21 nightmare.

Pippa has not only done the research, she has gone and got the FOIR to back up all of the information that she conveys during the show.

We waited over one year to put this show together, and partly that was due to the time Pippa had to wait until she had enough of the documentation to present the best information on this subject.

If George Orwell was alive today, and you were to tell him about what is going on in Glasgow, he would most likely laugh and say “thats taking things too far, its ridiculous”. However, its very real, and the city beaks have not only taken the fictional account of 1984 and used it as a template, but they have literally added some steroids and come up with something that sounds like its straight from a B-movie Sci-Fi flick about a hellish dystopic future!

Sound sensors, 582 IPTV camera’s, 4x police officers alongside civilian CCTV/IPTV operators, 1430 traffic/foot fall sensors, sensors to monitor energy efficiency, apps to map how people travel, bus stops that watch and listen, citizen science and even the study of Pre-Crime at the University Of Strathclyde are amongst some of the tools being deployed against the masses in Glasgow.

It might say “nice”, but its far from friendly!

Then we discuss just who scored big out of the £24million, and in particular NICE security, based in Israel. This is a company that was born from the Israeli military and are getting £12million to provide the A.I. controlled software that is to be our overseer when the system goes fully live.

Edinburgh is no less of a prison city, where everyone is a “person of interest” with facial recognition in operation.

Pippa also covers the Met police using TSA style scanners that are the brain child of the US Department of Defence, this being the first time such devices have been deployed on the streets.

Pippa is a parent whose children were nearly fingerprinted in 2005 when they were 6 and 7 years old for a school library system.  After asking the Head Teacher when the school was going to obtain consent from parents she was told that the school did not need to ask her permission to take her children’s fingerprints.  The UK Data Protection Act 1998 does not consider biometric data as Sensitive Personal Data and in order for schools to store and process a child’s Sensitive Data, parental consent must be sought.  As biometric data is not considered to be ‘sensitive’, schools could take a child’s biometrics without informing parents.
She campaigned from 2005 along with other parents, and privacy/civil liberties organisations, for parents to have openness and transparency from schools with an option to ‘opt in’ and schools not to presume parental consent by (sometimes) offering an ‘opt out’.

The Protection of Freedoms Act was passed in May 2012 which requires, in chapter 2 clauses 26-28, for schools to gain written parental consent if they wish to store/process a child’s biometric data as of 1st September 2013.
