Day 1 Defense US vs. Bundy et all Some Truth About the Artifacts

Here’s an on the ground report from John Lamb on the morning session of United States of America vs. Bundy et all.  John has been at “Patriot Corner” for 23 days now, along with a few dedicated supporters who come when they can. Having sat in that courtroom this time last week, I can tell you this case is really the Feds vs. the Constitution.
In today’s morning session, the Defense called Sheila Warren, an elder in the Siletz tribe.  The discussion was about the claims the Government has made saying the “occupiers” had trashed the artifacts. I know there’s video evidence of the conditions some of the artifacts were “stored” in. I know I saw LaVoy checking the place out and there was an artifact being used as a door stop. Dust, rat feces…disgusting and extremely disrespectful, IMO.

The Feds are jumpy, tight assed and always have to check with each other on stuff.  I’ve watched them get up to object about something and then have to ask another prosecuter to get details. They tried to scare the jury with a bunch of guns yesterday. When I was in court I heard the judge tell the Prosecution three times to “LET THE DEFENSE ASK THEIR QUESTION BEFORE YOU OBJECT.”  She also had to tell the Feds to stand up when they speak to her or raise objections. I saw the Facebook Evaluation FBI agent smile and wink at the Prosecution at the start of her testimony. I don’t care if those are people who may have known one another for decades, that’s bad form on the witness stand. These are families’ lives at stake.

Get to Portland if you can, even if just for a day. The Constitution, use it before you lose it…and believe me, you’re losing it.
