Psychometry

Using psychometry, a psychic will seek paranormal assistance by touching an object that belonged to that person. It is now commonly known as “token-object reading”. In 1842, Joseph Buchanan theorized that everything gave us off and domination – even non-living beings. He believed that we could uncover mysteries of the past. Every object, whether rock, tree, human, or otherwise, would emanate an energy field. The entire history of that object was contained within the emanation. To Buchanan, the recorded senses of this emanation could be read by a psychometric scryer or psychic. In an early study, Buchanan gave unmarked bottles of medicine to his students at the Cincinnati medical school. Strangely, the students who merely held onto the bottles received the same benefit as those who took the medicine.
