Marine Veteran Takes a Stand Against DMV Hypocrisy!
When Marine veteran Alex Morales went to a California DMV on December 18th, to renew his license, he was told to remove his hat before having his picture taken.
That did not sit well with Morales, especially since he noticed there were some men having their pictures taken, with turbans on their heads.
Morales refused to remove his USMC hat after being asked several times. Workers at the Bakersfield-area DMV asked Morales why he wouldn’t take it off. He said, if the others were permitted to wear headgear, then he should be too.
One of the DMV workers explained that the headdress they wore was part of their attire and religion. As far as he was concerned, though, USMC is as close to any religion as one can get, Morales responded. He swore an oath upon enlisting in the Corps — to “one nation under God.”
The workers were apparently stumped, so they called the folks in the state capital.
Morales waited an hour, and found out he won the battle. If a problem came up down the road, as a result of the photo, he was told he could appeal the decision. Alex said he most definitely would.
If anyone should be allowed to display headgear it is vets and active duty service members, he said. Several DMV employees clapped quietly for Alex as he left the building — hat still on.

Hats off to him for doing THAT !!!
He should have dropped his pants and bent over to “Moon” the camera for his photo on his drivers license to show how he REALLY felt about their no hats photo policy !!! Of course if he’d DONE that and they HAD taken his photo and put it on his license I could just imagine WHAT the Cops would say to him when they pulled him over and saw his license ; “Hey Assh*le” ! …….
JDP…iT SHOULD BE ONE POLICY FOR ALL REGARDLESS OF RELIGION , DUPLICITY IS NOT GOOD TIO ALLOW SOME TO WEAR BUT NOT OTHERS
The lesson here folks is that the worker drones just parrot whatever discriminatory, deceitful claptrap the bosses pass down. when you know you are right you just keep going up the ladder until someone has to admit you are right.
What if I invent a religion which has a doctrine that includes the notion that everything belongs to everyone, and that I have a right, based on my religious tenets, to take anything I want at any time?
What if I start a religion that says I can have intercourse with anyone I wish, on command , and they have no right to resist?
What if I wanted to start a religion that says I can go naked anywhere I chose?
What if I am Rastafarian and my religion includes smoking dope?
Or eating hippie vacation mushrooms?
Using the same mindset that seems to be being abused by those who wear drapery for clothing, our entire legal system could be hamstrung by the creation of religions.
Religious freedom allows people to be free to practice their religion, but not to impose it on everyone around them.
And not to circumvent other laws.
All freedoms have the responsibility of not infringing on others religions or choice not to practice a specific religion.
Or peoples other freedoms.
The same constitution that separates religion from the state and allows me religious freedom also
gives me the responsibility to respect others freedoms.
And one of those freedoms is the freedom to vote for politicians who keep a legal system intact that protects me by making sure everyone who wants to drive in this country has a clear picture of them taken that everyone passes the same test in their state for and agrees to the same responsibilities.
The fact is, satans ragheads have every right to choose NOT to have a drivers license if they disagree with their picture being taken.
The Amish wish NOT to subscribe to the rest of american culture and many do not allow their picture taken.
They also use horse and buggy rather than drive a car as a result of their religious tenets not agreeing with the state.
Again, the drapery wearing clowns have exactly the same prerogative.
