Police State America Video: Michigan Cops Point Weapons at Innocent Children After Dispatch Call Comes in of Possible Weapon on Scene

In yet another example in the ongoing saga which we call Police State America, on March 24, 2017, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, 5 young boys were walking back home after playing basketball at The Salvation Army Kroc Center on South Division Ave when all of a sudden they were surrounded by many Grand Rapids police officers who proceeded to point weapons at the unsuspecting boys who were then told to get on the ground. As you might imagine these young boys were more than likely confused and scared to death at what was currently happening to them. After all, it isn’t every day that you have multiple police officers yelling at you to get down on the ground while pointing weapons at you.

So you may ask how could this happen in the land of the free? I mean you and your friends are just walking back from playing a game of basketball after all. Well apparently all it takes is for a dispatch call to come over the police radio stating that there may have been a large group of people fighting in that same vicinity, and one of them who was dressed in black may have had a revolver.

Meanwhile, GRPD got a call about a fight involving 100 people that broke out at the Kroc. An officer who was responding was told a teen walking with a group in the area was carrying a revolver. GRPD Sgt. Terry Dixon told 24 Hour News 8 that officers were told the armed teen was dressed in all black.

As they searched the area, an officer spotted the group on Francis and determined they met the description. He drew his gun and ordered them to get on the ground, Dixon said.

None of the boys were armed.

“We have to exercise due diligence if we come across someone matching that description,” Dixon said. “In this case, it appears they matched the description, but the gun, they didn’t have one. That’s unfortunate. That is something that should be in dialogue, but as far as the actions of the police officer — they did nothing wrong.”

Of course this incident has not only gotten the boys parents upset, it has also upset the entire community as well.
