Gazans Hold Trump Effigy at Gunpoint as Thousands Decry POTUS Visit (Videos)

Thousands of people took to the streets of Gaza, Tuesday, to decry US President Donald Trump’s visit to Palestine and voice opposition to what they see as posturing peace talks with Israel.
The protest, or the ‘Day of Rage,’ was organised by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) who were also marching in solidarity with hunger-striking Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails. Several protesters held an effigy of Trump at a gunpoint on a moving truck with a sign reading “Resistance is not terrorism.”
Earlier on Tuesday, Trump was welcomed by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to Bethlehem with full military honours. During his speech, Trump said he was “committed” to realising a peace agreement between Israel and Palestine.
