I didn’t read this, since it sounded like a bunch of occupy wall street propoganda. However, it’s quite obvious the masses have been brainwashed if they believe the gov can tell them who they can & cannot do business with. It’s called personal liberty. In a free country you should be able to refuse any customer & expel them if it’s your own private business. Not smart to do that though, but there are times when it is necessary.
Let’s say I’m running a bar that has a booming business, & then all the gays start taking over & running off my high dollar clients. It should be my right to run them off. On the other hand, if I was running a convenience store & had a sign in the window saying no gays, that wouldn’t be too smart. They aren’t hanging around anyway, so they aren’t running off your customers.
Then we have religious liberty as well. In my view, personal, & religious liberty should always trump (pun intended) the imagined civil rights of the minority. That is, if we really live in a free country.
let’s talk about rental property as well. It’s my $!@#$ property. I should be able to pick & choose who I want living there. That’s common sense.
