After the calls and commotion of the assault on Ammon Bundy in the Nevada Southern Detention Center yesterday (see: /alternative/2017/05/ammon-bundy-assaulted-in-nv-held-in-shower-stall-cuffed-shackled-for-13-hours-over-a-shirt-3507146.html ), the NSDC has cancelled ALL weekend visitations for this weekend due to “safety reasons”. They are concerned about the people heading to Pahrump to protest the horrific treament of Ammon Bundy, Ryan Bundy, the other P3′s and those other inmates of NSDC who are suffering at the hands of these unaccountable for profit prison guards. They want the other inmates to be angry with them for “causing this” to make them additional targets for retribution. It’s part of the break down they do in these terrible jails.
Andrea Parker, wife of defendant Eric Parker, waiting for re-trial after the mistrial last month, shares an update. She received a call from defendant Steve Stewart from inside NSDC informing her of the cancellation of all visits. Details are in her update.
