Syrian Army Liberates Last ISIS Stronghold in Homs Province (Video)

The US and Israel’s frustrations continued today, as the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) liberated the town of al-Sukhnah, the last remaining ISIS stronghold in Homs Province.

Despite being under-equipped and under-funded, the Syrian Army has still managed to defeat the billion dollar-funded, imported foreign terrorist army commonly known as the ‘Islamic State.’ In the last 3 months, the SAA have managed to push out, and push back the Western ‘regime change’ proxies – out of numerous key strategic areas previous occupied the terrorists.

With many of the terrorists’ supply lines, or ‘rat lines’ now cut-off, and with morale among terrorists at an all-time low – Washington and its regional partners (Saudi Arabia and Israel) may be losing their sole reason used to self-justify their illegal presence on the ground and in the skies over Syria.

“SAA ordinance disposal teams have started work on clearing al-Sukhnah of mines and improvised explosive devices (IED),” a military source told Almasdar.

RT’s Ruptly video agency has obtained exclusive video from al-Sukhnah after its liberation. The footage shows the widespread destruction and scattered munition left from Islamic State fighters.

Capturing the town of al-Sukhnah is the latest victory of the Syrian army against IS. The town lies about 50km from the ancient city of Palmyra and about the same distance from Deir Ezzor province, one of the last remaining patches under IS control…
