PARKLAND, Fla. (Reuters) – The Federal Bureau of Investigation was warned in September about an ominous online comment by the 19-year-old man accused of killing 17 people at his former high school but was unable to locate him, an agent said on Thursday. Authorities said the ex-student, identified as Nikolas Cruz, walked into the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, near Miami, on Wednesday and opened fire with an AR-15-style assault rifle in the second-deadliest shooting at a public school in U.S. history.

there is speculation about him being a cuban daca baby, a baby with autism, adopted by new york parents before moving to florida, his adoptive parents are now both dead, the fbi was on his tail after he posted a disturbing message on you tube six months ago, he might be a fbi patsy, all this happened on the same day a major active-fire drill/training was planned for the school, we really should be asking why do so many “active fire” drills end with real fatalities
I just watched the few seconds of video demonstrating how someone could conceal an ar15 as well as ammo BUT the guy was very thin/slender so there was ample space inside normal loose-fitting work jeans… plus the guy demonstrated his ability to walk with the gun hidden but it required that leg to be kept relatively straighter than normal,…..
So clambering down stairways with that gun hidden was not likely so doable, AND the witness said they were leaving the building going down stairs, so for the duration that they were navigating the stairs, likely talking and ‘freaking’ there would have been a lot of trouble for the ‘suspect’ to be able to keep up and walk credibly down steps while chatting or making contact with the witness……
ttyl, doesn’t seem possible that the photo of the well-fed appearing suspect (in the photo of him laying on the ground, being searched at that point) would be suitably thin enough to accomplish the skinny guy’s slightly stiff legged stunt… dunno, til somebody of that Cruz’s ‘build’ does the test on video kindly……
