Mykel Hawke is regarded by many to be the #1 ranked survivalist in the world. His most recent works on TV have been the very popular shows Man, Woman & Wild and Lost Survivors. He retired as a Captain in 2011 after 25 years in the U.S. Army Special Forces, also known as Green Berets, The Unconventional Warfare Specialist in Guerrilla War. He was a Sergeant First Class prior to that with Specialties in Medicine, Communications and Intelligence. Mykel was rated in 7 languages, paid for 3 and has a best-selling language book.

Hawke is best known for his work on TV as the Star & Producer of 7 television series, with over 50 shows and 1 film to his credit. Mykel also has 4 published books and been included in or written part of 10 others books, to include Harvard’s Global Medicine, Hawke’s Survival, and Ayres Guns, Knives & Martial Arts. Mykel earned his B.S. in Biology from UNY and his Master’s in Psychology from UCA. He is rated as a Black Belt in Aikido and Judo. Hawke is a Military Combat Veteran as well as a War Contractor & Country Manager for The State Department. Hawke has served and/or worked in Iraq, Afghanistan, Sierra Leone, Colombia, Haiti, Turkey, Thailand, El Savador, Ukraine, Korea, Azerbaijan and other interesting places.
Mykel is a Father and Grandfather and dedicates a great deal of time teaching kids about safety, security and survival. In between teaching Military, Government, Corporations and Private Citizens, Mykel dedicates his time to his own family, studying his specialties and he works with charity organizations dedicated to helping Children, Animals and Veterans.
