Angry fans invaded the pitch at the Moses Mabhida stadium last night. Among many other serious injuries, a female security guard was beaten unconscious by a mob of men.

This follows the Kaizer Chiefs’ 2-nil loss to Free State Stars in the Nedbank Cup semi-finals. Amakhosi are famous for having gone for three seasons without silverware. Fans took to the field to vent out their frustrations after their last chance of silverware disappeared with the loss to Ea Lla Koto.
