Say the law said anyone age 82 and older must be put to death in a sanitary eugenics center. Would you be FOR that legislation or would you stand opposed to it?
What if they passed that legislation and it became the law of the land, endorsed and upheld by the courts?
Would you continue to stand against that law even if most people in this country were for it?
Answer that question in your own heart and mind. How about this, would you modify your position on this, if you knew that your stand against such a law would cost your candidate the next election?
