Ammo Inc to expand product offerings for military market

Ammo Inc sets its sights on the the defense market, announcing plans to expand its product lines to pursue military and law enforcement clientele.

The company said a “portfolio of 50-caliber ammunition” as well as rifle rounds aimed at supporting new military weaponry are among the new products to be introduced later this year. The ammo maker also intends to offer a multitude of modular projectiles for military fighters.

“We are excited about the future opportunities in the U.S. Military and Law Enforcement markets,” Kathy Hanrahan, Ammo Inc.’s President of Global Tactical Defense, said in a news release. “We are optimistic given the technological advances we offer, and the need to replenish military arsenals, that we have a unique opportunity to provide an alternate solution.”

Ammo Inc is better known for its unique line of ammo to include the Streak Visual Ammunition. The one-way luminescent rounds allows the shooter to see the rounds from point of fire to impact in low light shooting scenarios.

“Up until the release of our Streak Visual Ammunition in January of 2018, the use of non-incendiary tracer technology had been a concept for future ammunition development and full-scale deployment.  However, with our Streak products already in full production, and commercially sold under an exclusive worldwide agreement, we are confident that we have a strategic advantage in developing new portfolios of products, inclusive of the .50-caliber market, that meet current requirements for the U.S. Military,” Hanrahan commented.

New products are expected to roll out in late 2018.
