Something Critical Everybody Missed When a Cop Arrests This Particular Cop!!

This is 48 year old Brian Filipiak. He was a lieutenant for the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Department…that is, until he was pulled over by Deputy Morrisey on day for reportedly drinking and driving.

There is a viral video entitled: Drunk Driving Arrest of Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Brian Filipiak details bodycam footage of the actual traffic stop. This video is offered up as an example that supposedly answers the question, “if there are good cops, why don’t you see cops out there arresting the bad cops”

Before we dig into this video, it should be noted that while Filipiak lost his lieutenant’s position, he did not lose his job within the department. This guy literally put lives in jeopardy by not only driving drunk…this guy, as you’ll see from the video was freakin’ hammered…and yet he retained his position.

Brian Filipiak, 47, was sentenced to one year of probation, with a deferred jail sentence, for operating while intoxicated in connection with a drunken-driving arrest on Nov. 13, 2016, in northern Michigan. He initially was charged with misdemeanor operating while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol level of 0.17 or more for the incident, but pleaded guilty to the lesser charge in January.  (Check out this video)
