Chaos At The Border!

It’s been a little over a week since the Mexico border in Tijuana received their first taste of the migrant caravan. With little surprise to the intelligent, those in the caravan were ungrateful, violent, and many criminals amongst them! With a little over 100 arrests so far due to criminal activity and rushing the border, Mexico is currently ready to deport about 500 migrants who rushed the border, posted by the Mayor of Tijuana:

 

“We will not allow our binational relationship to be broken by the bad conduct of the migrant caravan. They are working outside the law! We are being impacted at the border crossing. Many people of Tijuana work, study and visit the United States in healthy peace!”

15-year old girl sexually abused by migrant at Tijuana shelter
TIJUANA, Baja California – One of the Central American migrants sexually abused a 15-year old girl this morning in the shelter at the Benito Juárez Sports Unit.
Police Chief Mario Martínez Martínez reported that Tijuana police headquarters received a complaint of an attempted rape at 6AM at the shelter.
“An unpleasant situation, this morning we responded to a report by the child’s mother that her daughter went to the bathroom and was followed by a Honduran, who touched her genitals, sexually abusing her,” said Martínez.
When the police arrived, the person responsible had fled. An operation was mounted to find him, but his location is still unknown.
The latest report from the police is that so far they have arrested around 90 caravan members for different crimes.

Will the efforts from Tijuana be enough? I mentioned how they will be deporting about 500 for storming the border, but on Thanksgiving, President Trump made the statement that he will close the borders should continue to get out of hand, and today, Fox News has reported that Trump has said if these people aren’t sent home, the border will be permanently closed through this tweet.

What’s sickening is the replies to that tweet of the American people mostly condemning Trump and the US for keeping these people out. It truly shows how deluded they have become that letting these people in would be a good idea. Even though other countries who have allowed migrants in have had spikes in violence, murders, rapes, and more! Over the weekend, the border was closed a few times, so what’s stopping Trump from making sure it’s shut for good? What will the next few weeks bring for this situation?
