Watch Live: Explosion at Oil Refinery, Baytown Tx - Exxon Mobile

Two fires have been reported at ExxonMobil BTA, KHOU 11 reported. At first a shelter-in-place wasn’t issued but that has changed. The fire is at the ExxonMobil Baytown Complex’s Olefins plant, located at 3525 Decker Drive.

Earlier this year, March 16th 2019, this same refinery had a similar fire and explosion. What is going on in Baytown?

Also, there seems to be a pattern forming on America’s Oil Refineries. Back in June 21st 2019 America’s largest oil refinery on the East Coast was also hit with an explosion.

The owner of the largest oil refinery on the East Coast is telling officials that it will close the facility after a fire last week set off explosions and damaged the complex.

Could there be more to these refinery fires than what the Mainstream Media is reporting on? Could these explosions be test runs by terrorist organizations?   

Shut down a nations ability to refine oil and they would shut down the whole nation.

The City of Baytown said it is at the Exxon Mobile BTA. Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the sheriff’s office is monitoring the situation and at this time there is no shelter in place.

The fire broke out Wednesday morning at an Exxon Mobil facility in Baytown, about 25 miles east of Houston.

The City of Baytown says the fire is an area that contains polypropylene material and that Exxon Mobil has requested that some nearby residents shelter in place as a precaution.

“The fire is in the unit that contains polypropylene material. Exxon has asked that a Shelter in Place be issued west of it’s plant and south of 330. Exxon advised this is out of an abundance of caution,” the city said in an advisory.

The area has seen large fires this year involving other petrochemical companies, too.

In April, one worker died after a tank holding a flammable chemical caught fire in Crosby.

And in March, a fire burned for days at a petrochemical storage facility in nearby Deer Park.
