Where to buy external hard drive?
I have so many photos from over the years it’s not even funny. I’m not sure I trust putting them all in cloud storage without a hard copy, so I want to get an external hard drive for a backup. I’ve heard of Western Digital and people have told me it’s a good brand. But my question is what’s the best place to buy one? I came across this article (https://www.photographytalk.com/alternatives-to-b-h-photo) that offers a ton of suggestions, but I don’t know if B&H or Adorama or Samy’s or one of the others is best. Any advice??
Also while I’m at it, is Western Digital the way to go or is there another brand you’d recommend? I bought a little Toshiba one many years ago that worked fine, but I was looking for the cheapest possible one and didn’t pay much attention to the quality or reliability. But with all these photos piling up I definitely want a good backup now.
Thanks!
