Hal Turner Refuses to Cancel Subscription

Back in the early part of 2019 I subscribed to Hal Turner’s website. I enjoyed his content and it was only $5 a month so I thought I would help the guy out for a few months. In April or May I decided to cancel my subscription but was surprised the next month when I was automatically billed for five more dollars.
I contacted Mr. Turner several times over the next couple months. Mr. Turner advised there was an issue with Stripe but stated that he was working to resolve it. I did not have access to Mr. Turner’s website during any of this time – in fact I was locked out and unable to even log in.
After being billed again the subsequent two months and contacting / bugging Mr. Turner several more times he did to his credit refund me $15. Hal said that he thought the issue was resolved but that if it wasn’t to contact him and he would fix it.
Okay fine. Things happen. Plus the guy had just had open heart surgery. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt. He was slow but he did refund me.
BUT after receiving the refund I have been charged three more times in each of the last three months, $5 each month. I have contacted Hal Turner several more times and he has resorted to completely ignoring me, despite my threats to take the matter up with the New Jersey Better Business Bureau.
Well I have filed a formal complaint with the NJ BBB and Mr. Turner’s unwillingness to resolve this seemingly simple issue speaks to his character – or lack thereof.
I gave the guy six friggin months to fix the issue so now I am stepping up my efforts. I’m not trying to be a jerk but I warned Mr. Turner that I would do this if he didn’t figure out a solution.
