Thousands of citizens flooded a beach in the popular coastal town of Bournemouth on Thursday, as authorities declared a “major incident” over what they claimed to be the “irresponsible behavior” of thousands of people who had ignored “public health guidance” on the coronavirus. Numerous other beach towns such as Brighton went through similar crowding as residents gathered at the coast to get away from a heatwave.
